Stop...tell me I didn't hear the words...it's so quiet here because where we are there is NO PUBLIC ACCESS! And this is something to be proud of and rather "smugly flaunt!" Oh for shame! I am afraid there are many wealthy/famous people in Malibu who make sure the beaches are as difficult to access as possible by the general public. They get away with it too as a lot of public officials, who should know better, are so impressed or cowed by the rich and famous that they fail to enforce the rules and regulations.

I am Greek and I can totally relate! That's almost the way we spend long summers in my beach house, swimming, sun taning, hosting dinner garden parties and enjoying movies we missed in winter in a kind of an open air home cinema. Wachting this during the corona virus house isolation, I realise how we took all those things for granted (even felt that sweet boredom, at times) and I wonder if and when we will be able to enjoy all this again.
