I am currently working in a Medical Device Design Quality area. I am pretty sure as part of the IFU (instruction for use), the company includes the "Pre-caution", "Risks associates to misuse the products". The company will specify which string type to be used so it will prevent the doctor or user from inflating the balloon or catheter. Lawyer tries to make money.

@@ericfernandez6706 I've worked along side of neurologist/ radiologists in the lab using this very catheter and have never seen this happen. However, whether this is a user error or not there is still a design flaw by it being to thin and flexible. The catheter must be pulled.

Actually the video contains opinions (where stated) but it contains mostly facts and documents. Mind you, nothing of what is contained in the video has ever been disputed by the company. There is a catheter out there that has killed and maimed people and Penumbra has refused to take it off the market in the US (in the EU it was not approved due to the accidents and in Japan it was taken off the market). Penumbra has been misleading in its communication with doctors and investors and it will most likely get sued. what do you think is going to happen to the stock after a class action lawsuit is announced and the Jet7 is recalled? Mind you, new products (e.g. Indigo Lightning) are malfunctioning at a pace even faster than the Jet7
