Max number of players is 8. Impossible to include the audience and actually play the game. They'd need to recreate the game all over again to do that.

1. The Audience Can Vote In Jackbox Games To Affect The Scoring. That being said, this format probably works better for broadcast and an audience member interfering or being difficult can hold up production. If I worked at NBC, I think this is the best way for Quiplash to be Played on the Tonight Show.

Audience members are instructed to turn off their phones before they even get into the elevator up to the studio. I've been in the audience many times. You get kicked out if they catch you on your phone. They wouldn't make an exception for this short game. The only option would be having those little touch pads at the chairs like they had on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but that doesn't exist for this game, plus it would be wildly expensive to produce for such a short segment.

Alex There Could’ve Been an Exception for This Segment or it Could’ve Been done at the end of the taping Session if need be so everyone can keep their phones on. This is a Game Jimmy Clearly Loves and NBC would’ve moved things around to make it work on this show as it shows Jimmy relatable and trying new things. But Yeah, That’s Probably Why It Wasn’t Done For The First Show.

No, definitely not. You are expected to shut your phone off before entering the elevator up and you are not allowed to turn it back on until you are out on the other side of security down on the second floor. They also never film these segments as the last part of taping. It's filmed in the order that you see it on TV usually, with the musical guest being last. They're not going to chance having some idiots think it's okay for them to keep their phones on and take photos of the performance. The way they film is down to a science, everything moves like clockwork.

That studio has so much money, they could have passed out burner phones with nothing but access to quiplash on them for every member of the audience. This was poorly planned and executed. Decent video to show and explain what the game is though, if you're trying to introduce someone to it.
