I love this, as a sax player, I always have to transpose, but I am reading the chords as the seventh note and it is much easier to read.

can you explain a bit further on this? im in the sax boat as well, and usually would jam to this using the chord as a starting point and using 1-3-5 intervals within that scale. what do you mean by reading the chord as the seventh note?
