I use jewelry zip lock bags to store hooks in hook box. Taking out on at a time and storing used hooks separately.

You mentioned Dickie, I had to laugh remembering a video awhile back where you asked him to pull a couple of specific baits out of his boat storage compartment. As disorganized as it appeared I think he was able to grab the requested baits.

Some great ideas! I personnaly use worm bag binders for different hooks as I can keep them pretty organized and in original package.

I've had to throw away a sickening amount of unused tackle due to rust. Like you I learned the hard way to keep opened hooks / tackle to a minimum and try to keep them in the original packages as long as possible. We greatly overestimate the amount of tackle we need in our boats, its rare to completely run out of something.

My expensive treble hooks are in a waterproof (O-ring seal) Plano box. I’ve also replaced the non-Plano plastic “shoe box style” utility boxes like you showed with heavy gauge reclosable plastic zipper seal bags I ordered off the internet (eBay or Amazon, don’t remember which). I’m liking the bags over the boxes because they take up less room and fit in odd spaces. I tried gallon ziplock brand freezer bags but they didn’t hold up. So far the heavy gauge bags are working well… they are transparent so I can see what’s in them and they’re waterproof as well.

The new edge hook box is great as it's got storage underneath for hooks in new packaging. Spendy but worth it imo

I'm pretty anal about rust like you, I find that I throw more hooks away from having the point rolled or the hook bent. From your last video, some of those shaky head hooks aren't made for boat flipping a lot of fish.
