Quick suggestion and maybe it's been said before but It would be very entertaining to have people call in and ask their questions that way you both can get all the context you need and give more accurate advice lol because as a viewer I want more details too. Maybe not for all the questions but once a month or something as a "special question" lol idk just a thought that I thought I had

John's idea about the girl and surfer is 100 percent. That was her fault she did it, she immediately was attracted to him.
@chris-gx7rs Жыл бұрын
All you women do that
@kevinking9752 Жыл бұрын
yeah, agreed. I think some people are so unprepared for the possibility of being attracted to someone else, so a crush like that to them must have SOME kind of significance, when it can be just that, a crush. We don't just instantly lose the ability to be attracted to other people upon entering a relationship, and knowing that makes you more prepared to distance yourself when it does. So agreed with John, she's being so careless there, it's almost comical that she truly had no idea that she was playing with fire here. What did she expect?

After struggling with infertility for about three years now and having a severe stage 4 endometriosis diagnosis, one lap done and another surgery booked for sept, that question "when will you have kids" irks me. I think it's an inappropriate "small talk" question, mostly when asked to someone who is struggling with infertility or experienced a miscarriage. While it may seem like a well-intended question and sometimes they don't know your situation, I answer truthfully so they can perhaps think of a better question to ask next time. "Why don't you have kids yet?!?" "I'm infertile." *blank stare* or "when will you have kids?" "We have been trying for quite awhile and haven't been successful" *blank stare* like pleaaaaase think of better small talk questions that don't involve my husband and l's sex life! If I didn't announce a pregnancy or don't look pregnant, it's because I'm not!!!!! If someone wants to talk about expanding their family, THEY will bring it up.

40:13 Alex said someone needing constant reassurance can get annoying but consider how your need of water would change when you’re in a dessert for a week. When you’re deprived of something, you crave it even more. The more someone is reassured, the less you need it
@benitosantiago8602 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, but when is enough enough? The less confidence you have, the more reassurance you need. Not being confident in yourself, is an unattractive trait to most. I agree that some reassurance is definitely needed from time to time but when your whole image of yourself and your relationship relies on it is when it’s an issue and can become exhausting to uphold for the other person. This is of course, with the assumption that the other person hasn’t done anything to make you need the reassurance more.
@beancheese3148 Жыл бұрын
Jealousy is an issue with self. Your partner will never be able to fulfill your need of reassurance. The best they can do is tell you how much they love you and express themselves with their love language. Especially if you don’t have a “words of affirmation” love language, it can be a little odd or even burdensome to your partner if they always affirm and you want more. The only way you can feel well in your skin is to be loving towards yourself.

25:20 I would never invite an ex anything to a relatives funeral. And I would never go to an ex’s relatives funeral. If you had a close relationship with the deceased, send flowers to show respect. There’s no need to show your face. Also.. don’t you think it’s weird that his mom passed away & he’s thinking about how someone else is feeling about it. WHILE his girlfriend is thinking about making all the plans. It’s a deep rooted issue I think.

I loved this convo. To the giving the number out scenario, I don’t think you have to have issues in your relationship to do things like that. The OP even mentioned she had a great relationship. I have found that cheating is typically a boundary issue, not a relationship. You would be surprised in the amount of people who cheat, but later report to having good relationships on the people they cheated on. They want what they want, and blame the relationship as a way too cope. At least that’s my 2 cents

For the person asking about their partner waking up early. We have a 3 bedroom. My fiances work clothed are in that closet. We do have 2 bathrooms so he does use the one out of the room. But he can shower in your bathroom and change and get ready elsewhere if that's a possibility.

46:33 😆Let's get one thing straight: a stranger that offers to buy you a drink for no other reason other than existing, is hitting on you. He knows this, you know this, which is why Alex responded with 'I'm married'. What's the alternative, wait for him to buy you a drink so she can risk getting insulted for not saying it sooner? Have an entire convo with someone thinking it could go somewhere only for them to reveal 30 mins in that they're already married? So sure, you're uncomfortable, but so is she dude, you're the one who's making the move here! 😆 If he did indeed try to make you feel bad about it, that is such a low key dick move. I'm saying this as a guy too: a woman sets a boundary, even if it's expressed in a bit of an awkward way, just respect it, dude. Take a hint, say goodnight, or get that drink for her anyway. I've gotten this response from women I've approached at a bar and thanked them for telling me that they're in a relationship from the get go, and sometimes bought them a drink anyway and still had a chat. Because I've had a few extended convos with a few women who conveniently chose not to reveal they're not single. There's nothing wrong with wanting to feel wanted when you're out at a bar/club, but it's really at the expense of someone else in that case, and if I'd rather spend that time with someone who is single, then I should be able to do that and appreciate being given that option.
