I had a few dilemmas regarding the career path I aspire to have, I am a 3rd year undergrad student having a non-tech background learning data analytics and looking to find my first job in the analytics field. Moving forward in my career, I want to pivot into Consulting as I feel analytics plays a major role in Consulting So It would really be helpful if you could share some valuable advice on firstly how to approach job search and the recruitment process in the analytics field being from a non-tech background. It could be domain specific expertise. I was in analytics for a long time and developed Marketing expertise as well. So that "domain" could be your secondary skill. Also, natural next step could be data based strategy role in the sector where you are. For example, if you are in banking analytics - then a potential role in a big Bank in their strategy team.
