All you have to understand is NEVER buy whole life. The smooth-brained imbecile, Eliot, is a perfect representation of a whole life insurance salesperson. A beta simp regurgitating what he's told, even if it's not correct to make money off of the vulnerable.

Waiting to buy a house has nothing to do with who is in office, for me at least. My experience in looking to purchase a home has been rough, solely because someone bought a house worth $150k 2-3 years ago and now think that same house is worth 350-400k

people in the comments hating on the millionaire hour just arent the target audience. before i found this channel i genuinely thought only rich kids ever became rich with a rare 1% of exceptions. theres so much negative content out there about the economy and the likelihood of "making it" in america that people never feel any reason to try. this stuff is meant for them

I think Dave misunderstood Patrick’s question about the down payment. Patrick wants to buy a bigger house now and doing a 30 year and paying extra will keep them at the 25% of net income. Vice saving for the same house a few more years to get them a bigger down payment and keeping the 25% on a 15 year.

Like you, I don't watch the boring, repetitive Millionaire Theme Hour. There is absolutely no new information there. It's rinse, wash and repeat. The retiree “Paid into the insurance their whole life and didn’t use it…” THAT’S INSURANCE 101! A person pays into car insurance, and doesn’t use it; that means they didn’t get into an accident. Someone has homeowner’s insurance and didn’t use it; that means their home didn’t catch on fire or flood. Those are reasons to rejoice. ONLY the life insurance industry has sold so much perversion that people lament not getting to use their insurance. Help us!

It’s very frustrating that Dave consistently dismisses any question when the obvious answer conflicts with his ego. The question of the day was pointing out that they need a much larger down payment for a 15 year fixed to meet the Ramsey rules of 25% and it would make much more sense to do a 30 year mortgage today and just make extra payments.
@Liimpy
@Liimpy Ай бұрын
People rarely make the extra payments, so a 15 yr holds you to 15 years
@nailatiyllufm7325
@nailatiyllufm7325 Ай бұрын
@@Liimpy I understand but that doesn’t answer the question. If you need to keep the monthly below 25% of your income, then the down payment on a 15 year fixed needs to be significantly more than on a 30 year. For most people it doesn’t make sense and will put you much worse off waiting years longer to buy a house just to save a little interest.
@Liimpy
