I don't...but I do go educating as much as possible. I've lost count how many times I've gone down the shop with 1 of my lizards. Even got a little boy get his mum to agree to getting him a BD for his next birthday as she understands more on the start up costs, care etc...job done 😊. My most recent addition is a black and white tegu. Had him a couple weeks now and he's already been down the shop on a harness with me

Fun filmmaking fact: good audio is 1000x more important toward making filmed content seem “professional” than video quality. Pretty much 10 out of 10 people will gladly watch a video in 1080/720/480/350p with crisp audio and think nothing of it, but a video shot in 4K with potato-quality audio is immediately perceived as cheap and amateurish.

Ever since I was a little kid I wanted to be the 'assembly lady', referring to educators that brought cool animals to school and taught us about wildlife. As an adult I understand that there's a lot more to it and have always found it daunting. Having everything broken down this way is really helpful and something I'll definitely keep in mind. The zoo near me allows docents to do this. Maybe look into that, it'll be a good way for you to see if it actually is for you. I thought I could never do it because of my social anxiety but found that I prrfer taking the animals around the zoo by myself so when I or the animal have had enough I can just leave

Once I finally settle myself into this new endeavor, and balance my old hobbies and day job, I want to share them. I'm still younge and have had a dream of being a reptile breeder since I was 11 and cought 2 brown anoles in in florida. happened to be male and female which started laying eggs within three months of me getting them. About 5 months later I got a female green anole from petsmart and turns out she played eggs for me. So now 1 year later I have my first babys ready for homes. I currently have 5 captive bred baby brown anoles and 3 green anoles ready for homes. It has bean an amazing journey and has bean very rewarding dispight many casualtys and heart break. If you guys want some of my CAPTIVE BRED angels just ask.

my partner got me a palmetto corn to help with my breeding project. at the time I only planned on breeding the palmetto and my blizzard, now I have created a monster and we have 14 corns, 5 red eyed crocodile skinks, 4 pleasing dart frogs, 2 tokay geckos, two leopard geckos, about 10 isopods, 6 types of feeders and I lost count how many mourning geckos.

I am hoping to be a reptile vlogger, that gives both good education and a smile on peoples face. My bearded dragon have helped me through dark times, and I hope to give some of that positivity to others. I been learning a lot from it so far. Definitely gonna invest in a mic attachment fore my phone soon. Also gonna make some changes to my channel to try to improve it more. Also experimenting with fiber art at the side, that I hope one day are able to sell and make some money. At the moment I am making name signs with plastic canvas for my bearded dragon's enclosure.

i agree with most of these standpoints, but sometimes its necessary to miss uploads, making videos for some people can be extremely mentally draining after a while, and a very very strict time limit can be damaging to someones mental health or physical health (especially people who have disabilities) if you easily get overstressed id recommend to have more of a loose time schedule and if people ask where youve been or why youve been gone for a bit, you can make a youtube short adressing it if you feel so, or just respond to them and tell them in the comment its also easier to get away with a looser time schedule if you are a relatively big channel, i would say 750k and so on while its true that in early video making, it is more necessary to make more videos in order to keep the people you want to stay subscribed, when you reach high enough popularity you can be a bit more lax with it

I was gonna say, about the "don't skip an upload thing" it might be a good idea to have a video or two "banked" just in case you have to take some time off, or have a shorter video planned to fill in the gap, so you can still take at least some time off as needed. Burnout is real, so it doesn't hurt to have a back up.
