Ford Focus - RADIO FUSES LOCATION (2011 - 2018)

If radio is not powering up on your Ford Focus or if there is no sound coming from the speakers you might be dealing with the burnt radio fuse. In this video I am showing the location of all the radio fuses to check ( 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | 2018 | S | SE | SEL | ST | TITANIUM ).

There is couple of fuses to check. They are all located in a fuse box just under the glove box. Hopefully this will fix your radio problem on your Ford Focus. If it doesn't, you will have to dig deeper and probably pull out the radio and check all the connections and wires in the back.

Thank you man. Unfortunately, none of these fuse replacements were the fix for my current problem of my dash screen not working or playing any audio, but this guide does work. I had an issue with connecting my Bluetooth and replacing that fuse did the trick. Good luck everyone 🤞

You're welcome. You might have to take the car to someone with higher end obd2 scanner to scan the module and follow up on the codes. You might need software update

I had to replace the radio unit unfortunately. Found a used one on car salvage

All 4 of those fuses the 7 the 25 the 15 and the other 7 were all burnt crisp black changed all 4 now working fine

I have ford focus Sel 2012 and my radio don't working and i look to fuse box i note there are miss 3 fuse like 79,85, 88! Can you help me to identify the number ?

Fuse #79 is 15A. Fuse #85 is 7.5A. Fuse #88 is blank spot

What about if its turning on but there is no sound/volume

If fuses are good then it could be a wiring issues or radio issue. I would start by inspecting the connections behind the radio and checking the wiring behind the rubber sleeve on driver and passenger door.

Try checking the wires at the drivers door jam, behind the rubber sleeve. It is very likely you will find few cracked wires there

Could be a failed horn or a wiring problem. Also quite often horn will not work due to failed airbag clock spring

Check the fuses first. If all good then try to disconnect / connect battery again and see if that resets it. Next step would be to scan the system and search for any codes within the module and possibly pull out the radio and inspect all connections and wiring behind it. I'll add that I had to replace bunch of radio units in newer Fords due to them failing

@@mgkl8465 I would try checking all the wires in the drivers door jam behind the rubber sleeve. often wires will be cracked there making all kinds of problems
