Both Cuenca and Quito are amazing options for any expat ... Quito has more options as a capital city but Cuenca is amazing in its own way

Hey there! Thank you so much for the LOVE! Comments like these keep us motivated! 🙏🏿 So if you are having a 6 month stay, I would say it depends on a lot of personal factors. I would probably say Cuenca, but that is very much centered around us having small children. If it was just me and the wife, I would likely say Quito….still a tough decision😩. We will def go back to Ecuador, not quite sure when because we have so many other destinations to check out. With that being said, Ecuador made a lasting impression on my family so we could see ourselves living there at some point. ❤️🙏🏿🇪🇨. Thank you again for your support!

Hi Guys.Iam from Cuenca.but I moved to Toronto Canada 🇨🇦. When I was a kid.over 30 years ago.and I have to admit.Cuenca food are a amazing.soo delicious. Cuenca are much cheaper a safer than Quito. Iam so glad that you Guys had a good time in Ecuador.Ecuadorian People are so friendly and respectful.too bud Ecuador was having a problem with the cartels when you were on Ecuador.

I lived in Cuenca and Quito, of course many of the things that you did not like about the City of Cuenca is because it is a small city, there are more rural and countryside areas than suburbs, that is why perhaps the transportation and Food is a bit slow. This city tries to stay historic and as original as possible, but it is also modernizing in other areas. I love Cuenca for this, where I lived I couldn't have fast food but I loved cooking and enjoying rural festivals, green areas of the countryside. Thanks for the video
