Really great tutorial! I followed it and works, including rotations.. except rotation on X axis - is this normal?

Hi! Thanks for the tutorial. I would like to know more about blending stuff with landscape. Like rocks blending with the earth below them. Also, I would like to know more about techniques of making sand layer on top of rocks, or something. I think those could be nice topics for a tutorial :)

Hey, thanks for the suggestions. The asset blending is coming down the pipeline with the more complex stuff. I'll have to experiment on that sand layer you mentioned but definetly sounds fun.

I like the spline tool in the landscape for roads mainly because it merge's into the terrain well AND it tiles much better, What Rocks you using they look choice?

not only for roads but also set dressing like they did on the Halo map they built with Megascans

thank you man....do u think this method can be done also without repetition texture?
@MR3DDev3 жыл бұрын
Is hard because of the way a spline works but not impossible. I use this on my day job when I need to assemble scenes with pipes and hoses and this allows me to get as long a pipe as I want without repetition or streching. It all depends on the asset.

Thanks for this video, and How can We upload one project on web?, I searched they way that to do this but I cannot found it.
@MR3DDev3 жыл бұрын
It depends on where you want to upload it. What I do if I need to share a project is zip the whole folder and send it. The folder is going to be really large so make sure the web you are trying to upload can handle such a folder. The reason for zipping is because the files withing the project can be restricted by some websites. As the channel grows I plan to add a place for you guys to upload your projects so other people can see them and get some feedback from me :)
