So the joke at the start, where Alucard says "The aristocrats" is about a joke told among comedians. It starts off simple. A family (mother, father, son, daughter, and a couple of pets) is pitching an act, and they're asked to demonstrate. So they start doing *utterly vile thing,* like beastiality, incest in various combinations, literally defecating one one another, urinating on one another, and so on (each comedian has their own combinations of vile, depraved acts for the family to do). By the end, the person their pitching to is stone faced, isn't phased at all, and asks "Okay, so what do you call this act", to which the family answers "The Aristocrats". So Van Helsing lists what he and his forces had to do (castles plundered, lands ruined) to defeat Alucard (The Vampire King, AKA Dracula), for his crimes of murdering over twenty thousand people, prostrating and impaling them (an early hint for those who haven't spotted how Alucard is Dracula spelled backward, because Dracula was also once known as Vlad the Impaler). So Alucard makes a 20th century joke to Van Helsing to troll him. Let's list Alucard's insults at Maxwell (purple eyes dude). 1. "World's cruelest handicap": small in the drawers. 2. "9 year old boy chained up": Catholic priest and little boys, need I say more? 3. "Private Vatican jet, payed for by donations from the church followers": he's accusing Maxwell of basically embezzling church tithes and donations. 4. "To spread the word of God, all over *his back":* another priest/boy joke. So four big shots aimed squarely at Maxwell, one for being inadequate downstairs, two for being a pedo, and one at being a corrupt priest in it for the money. Despite all of that, no, Maxwell is *not* diddling alter boys. A deleted scene has him angry at another priest being bribed, asked, jokingly, if the Nazis just showed up with a truck full of little boys, and the priest didn't say a word, confirming something like that actually happened and was why he helped the Nazis. Maxwell then has the SOB executed. A small, but important part will be revealed later as to why he would have an issue with pedo priests. And just as an addition: Alexander (Motherf✓©king) Anderson also doesn't have problems with alter boys. He's a genuinely good guy (in that he fights evil in the name of God (He not guilty)), and would probably quarter (as in slice into four pieces) any priests he found guilty of touching little kids that way. And if you didn't catch it, Alucard chewing over the phone? That was him *eating the corpses of the assault team,* which is what he meant by "I can cancel my room service". Alucard was genuinely amused by the Dandy Man using the police and lying to them. He usually doesn't care why people attack him, but in this case he actually finds it funny that Dandy Man did something like that just to get his attention. It's safe to say you weren't ready for this and the last few episodes. I suggest not trying to prepare for the rest, because there's no real defense you can shore up for this series, and you can't really be prepared for what comes next. No one's ready the first time around. All I can say is; be ready for gore, dark humor, and a very interesting individual or two.

I was impressed to the little nods in history in this episode. 13:23 This is a reference to Vlad Tepes III, aka Vlad the Impaler, who was Bram Stoker's inspiration for Count Dracula. It also makes sense that there would be Nazi agents in South America; as many of them fled to multiple South American countries like Argentina and Brazil when Germany fell in WWII.

So from a comment from a different reactor, I learned the significance of the carrier pigeon. Apparently while they were good at delivering messages, they're only a one-way messenger as pigeons have the uncanny ability to remember their flight home. The fact that they "just flight right into the Vatican" implies that Alucard is capable of not only infiltrating the Vatican, but has spent enough time to raise pigeons there and train them to fly there. Their biggest threat - especially to the Pope - isn't just sending death threats. He's sending death threats as a game, while also already having access to the whereabouts and could do so *whenever* he wants!

There's TeamFourStar's abridged series of Final Fantasy 7 which is funny. You could watch that. Some trivia about Hellsing Abridged: Every time Seras Victoria a.k.a. The Police Girl goes on a rampage/blood rage, you can always hear a Rob Zombie song in the background. In episode 1 it's 'Feel so Numb' and in episode 2 it was 'Dragula'. There's another song coming, but I don't wanna spoil when and which. Finally some random trivia: Notice that Enrico Maxwell has white hair and purple eyes. This is actually something that can also be seen in real life. But only if the person is Albino.

1:13 I don't know if you know this, but Alucard is based on a real guy- well, his backstory is anyway. Vlad III of Wallachia, aka Vlad Tepes ("The Impaler" in Romanian) aka Vlad Dracula ("Son of the Dragon" in Romanian) actually did end up impaling over 20,000 various soldiers, women, children, etc- and placing them in a valley in the way of a massive Ottoman army. An army of over 200,000 men led by legendary generals that seemed unstoppable at the time, fresh off their conquest of Constantinople (which had never been successfully sieged in over 2000 years) broke and fled in terror of this "forest of corpses" raised by Vlad. And he did it all with an army over a hundred times smaller, merely 2,000 men. Of all the things the Catholic Europeans and Sunni Ottomans disagreed on, the fact that someone had to fucking kill Vlad the Impaler was never one of them.

Don't know if it was mentioned already, but the reason why Seras was inside a coffin in the cargo hold of the plane is because vampires normally can't cross bodies of running water unless they are resting in a coffin containing soil from the vampire's homeland. Alucard is obviously an exception to this rule, though he still needs his coffin nearby.

For the record you are in an ETERNAL losing battle trying to censor HELLSING. It’s one of the goriest shows I’ve EVER seen. And Hellsing Abridged is TAMER than the original. By a WIDE margin actually. They don’t make any gruesome death short. They show you every INSTANCE of it in the original and make it linger. Also lore drop, the man in the 1st scene with the Transylvanian accent is the original Hellsing. The man who defeated Dracula. The one from the book. And MY GOODNESS does TFS have AWESOME Transylvanian accents down for this show.

Hey, I'm back with another info dump! I wouldn't normally say this until later, but since you know who Alucard is; Dracula was based off of Vlad the Impaler, who would add blood to his wine and like Alucard does later in the episode, impaled people on spikes. When he said the aristocrats, he was referencing a joke where a person describes horrible things and then says he named it "The politicians" or something. Seras was in the coffin because she wasn't a full vampire, normally vampires regain energy by drinking blood, but since she refuses to drink blood (the don't really mention it here, but a big character trait she has is that she refuses to drink anyone's blood, which caused the rampages she went on in the last two episodes), she has to rest in the coffin. Ah dang, it looks like you forgot. When Alucard says he "Going for a walk", people are gonna die. Ope, there's the impalements. Favorite line in the episode: "You've activated my Alu-Card". Goddamn. The Major is an incredible villain. They made it more of a joke here, but he sacrificed Dandyman because he knew Hellsing wanted information. So instead of trying to hide it, he gave Dandyman false information and had him attempt to kill Alucard. The Major knew full well he'd fail and that Alucard would use him to learn their "plans", which would make Hellsing think they had the advantage and try to counter a fake strategy. I probably didn't explain it very well, but basically The Major lulled them into a false sense of security. For the next series, I still recommend My Hero Abridged by Joyride entertainment

The only thing that I have seen get flagged when it comes to Hellsing abridged is the music in a few scenes. I have never seen a reactor talk about getting in trouble about anything besides the music. Plus the song that would give you the most trouble was removed from the actual video because a complaint was filed by ac/dc legal team and it was removed.
