"We made from water every living thing" One of my favorite parts of the Quran, nothing on this Earth lives except its made from cells which are comprised of water. Even scientists when they search for planets they know now water = life.

Arabic: .إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ سَمِيعًۢا بَصِيرًا Qur'an 86:5-8: Yusuf Ali: "Now let man but think from what he is created! He is created from a drop emitted - Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs: Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)!" Arabic: .إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٌ .يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ ٱلصُّلْبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ. خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٍ دَافِقٍ. فَلْيَنظُرِ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ Is this science is the sperm comming from a the back bone of a man and from the rib. Lol come on my friend this is so silly what non sense please look into the science of the quran its a contridiction and lie, look it up for tour self, look into biology where the sperm comes, nothing to do with the rib or the back bone, this is so silly, lol The Qur'an states that Alexander the Great traveled to where the sun sets and to where the sun rises. This is impossible on a spherical earth, since there is no specific place where the sun goes "down". Furthermore, the Qur'an states that the sun literally goes into muddy water when it "sets". "Till, when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring, and found a people thereabout. We said: O Dhu'l-Qarneyn! Either punish or show them kindness. .... Till, when he reached the rising-place of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had appointed no shelter therefrom." (Qur'an 18:86-90). Im sorry does the sun set in muddy water, is this science? Please my friend look into it don't listen to sheikhs and others of this false beliefs, the quran is ridiculous has many silly things in it, statements made in the quran is none sense nothing to do with science, people really have to be really silly to belive these stupid claims, im sorry brother please read the bible it is the only word of God and it will save your soul, God loves you and desires you to seek him through our lord Jesus christ.. please look into it.. The verse doesn't say that this fluid comes from the backbone and rips, it literally says that it comes from "between" them. I love this Surah. Just the start, "Ever closer comes mankind's reckoning, yet they are in heedlessness, turning away!" is enough to give me goosebumps. Then, how God makes a point that if there were any gods besides Him, the world would go to chaos (better translation than confusion I feel), it's so true. Just as there can be no two Kings in a single kingdom, there can be no two gods. Or three for that matter. And then the mention of how all of creation was joined together and then God caused it to split asunder, very clearly, God speaks of the big bang. And later in this same surah (towards the end) , God says, The Day We will wrap up the heavens together just as it was when we created them the first time. And in another surah, speaking about the heavens, "We are expanding it", I just marvel at how precise God was without going into any scientific jargon, as befitting for the time when He revealed this message. I ask God for guidance for us all. For the ability to appreciate His Words and take heed, while most of mankind is in a state of negligence of their ultimate purpose. Peace be upon you, sister.

They have to be the best of humans, they represent the One that sent them, if they are deficient then it would reflect negatively on the one who sent them. They have to be "la creme de la creme" of human beings. Unfortunately that is not the depiction of God's prophets in the old testament, not only they did not follow them (very few did) but killed them or spread falsehoods (tails) about them. The Quran was revealed to vindicate them from those falsehoods and give them the honor that they deserve.

Quran is not a book of science but will not denounce science. Laws of physics apply to everyone offcourse except the miracles of prophets coz there is seen and there is unseen knowledge but clearly this is said by Allah that heavens and earth were 1 and they were separated.. You are right that a lot of people go overboard with reading the Quran with the contemporary scientific theories in their back head and that this is a dangerous thing to do. This started with the likes of Maurice Bucaille and Zedani the Yemeni some decades ago. But i do not understand why you call the big bang theory stupid as it is still the most believed theory among scientists. You are wrong by claiming that if something has 1% of chance to be false that therefore it has no validity to be used as material for Quranic interpretation. No islamic scholar of the past or present has ever made that claim. Are you for instance aware that a hadith who is hasan ligairihi( a sound hadith whose origin is a weak hadith with different chains of narrations with strengthens the hadith) was and is still used for islamic law and also for Quran interpretation. In arabic it's called غلبة الظن..

First of al i said that i agree with you that explaining the Quran through the contemporary scientific discoveries is dangerous and therefore wrong in its essence as guideline for tafseer. Thirdly , when i spoke about the hadith al hasan ligairihi (الحديث الحسن لغيره) which is no longer a weak hadith if you know something about( مصطلح الحديث ) hadith terminology, i only did so for you to understand something very important which is known and agree upon by all muslim scholars from the past until today and this is the following: The islamic religion his core principles are certain but besides those core principles very much is what is called in arabic من باب غلة الظن أو الظن الراجح. Why do you think that there is something as ijthaad and ichtilaaf amongst scholars if every evidence was 100% ? Traditional Quran interpreters like ibn jareer attabari and ibn katheer they used ahadith which are hasan ligairihi to explain the Quran and none of the islamic scholars of hadith considers those as being 100% sure. Even the ahadith alhasan linasihi are not considered 100% sure that's why they are hasan and not sahih in the first place, but still traditional scholars used them and still use them as material for Quranic interpretation. What you are learning know is something ageed upon amongst all scholars and is not just limited to Quran interpretation but also islamic jurisprudence and even aqeeda for the traditional scholars. Why do you think that ibn jareer attbari and ibn katheer ,amongst the traditional interpreters recall to the stories of converted jews which does not even have a chain of narrotors, if everything has to be 100% certain.!!?? Why do you think that the sayings of the tabien and sahaba radia Allahu anhum were used to explain the Quran if everything has to be 100% certain. Why do you think that pre-islamic poetry was and is still used to understand and explain the Quran even though there's differences in those narrations.!!?? I encourage you to study the islamic sciences such as usul alfiqh and uloom alquran etc. and you will better understand what your words are implying.

The verse that says "All the celestial bodies swimming in its ROUND course", in other words all celestial bodies move in orbits. How could prophet Muhammed have known such fact if God didn't send that revelation to him? The Quran is indeed the word of God and the evidence steongly suggest that.

The big bang theory: “Do not the Unbelievers see That the heavens and the earth Were joined together (as one Unit of Creation), before We clove them asunder?” (Quran 21:30) This clearly indicates that the universe(heavens and the earth was) joint entity the word used in Arabic is (retq) which is used to refer to different substances that make up a whole. And then god clove them asunder the word used in Arabic is (fataqa) which means to become separated from each other or to separate something by destroying its structure. When describing the creation of the "heavens and the earth," the Qur'an does not discount the theory of a "Big Bang" explosion at the start of it all. In fact, the Qur'an says that "the heavens and the earth were joined together as one unit, before We clove them asunder" (21:30). Following this big explosion, Allah "turned to the sky, and it had been (as) smoke. In decades scientists said after the Big Bang there where particles until recently found out that it was gasses and not particles, like as the Quran refers to it as smoke. Expansion of the universe: "And it is We who have constructed the heaven with might, and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it."(Quran, 51:47)

Just a question: what are you trying to convey by reading Qur'an to people? Do you think that people can't get information from different available sources such as interne ? Translation is easy to find and people should be able to use their critical thinking when reading Holly books.

@@MilahanPhilosophersCorner I agree that's very important to try to understand Quran. Because it should allow you to understand the Muslim fanatics. In fact Quran is divided in 2 parts. The first part has been revealed in mecca when the prophet was powerless and had a fewer followers. He, preached for 13 years. During that time the verses were mostly about the previous prophets especially moses. They were also about tolerance and acceptance towards the people of the book (Jews and Christians ). Also many verses talks about the day of punishment and what the unbelievers will endure in hell. The 2nd part .was revealed in medina where the prophet immigrate because of mecca's people persecution. During that time the prophet became powerful because he had more followers and a strong army. So this is when the Qur'an language changed and became violent . The verses talk about killing and slaying the unbelievers. And this is when the Qur'an revealed that the jews and Christian should leave the sacred land unless they convert to Islam. Unfortunately this is part used by ISIS and Muslim fanatics. Because the first Muslims scholars believe that the 2nd part of Quran abrogated the 1St one. So the verses of peace should be replaced by the veres of war. The story of islam and how the Qur'an has been gathered is more complicated than people think. The prophet did not gather the Quran until the Khalifa Othman burned all the copies of Quran belonging to the prophet's companions and asked a group of some knowledgeable compagnions to help gathering the Quran in one book version which he would send to all the Muslim states. But unfortunately that version of Othman book has been lost and another version appeared more than 100 years later during the abbassid era . Some of the prophet companion said that so many verses and chapters have been lost from Quran . So we don't know for sure if the book we are having today is the original version or has been alterated by different scholars and khalifats throughout the history. But for sure islam and Quran especially has been used for ideological purposes since the prophet himself.

Personally, I think youre doing yourself a disservice by reading a translation that isnt great. I would recommend any English Quran translation by Dr Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali and Dr Muhammad Muhsin Khan. Much easier to read and clearer to understand.

@Moeshaak Shakur Saheeh International is good but it was written a few decades ago and its authors are relativelg unknown. The Hilali version was written more relatively recently and the translators are also scholars themselves, who are experts in both the Arabic and English languages. In anycase I dont think she is reading either of these. The Hilali version flows much better and isnt a chore like this one seems to be.

Instead of 'confusion in both' a better translation would be that they would have been corrupted, or would have gone bad (think of rotting fruit). In another chapter God proclaims: Had there been other 'gods' in the heavens and the earth (the earth being the universe), then each 'god' would have taken away his section (ran away with his own creation!). In another he explains: Had there been other 'gods' then surely they would seek a way to the throne! Or seek favors from the owner of the throne !* You missed the Big Bang (clove them asunder). Told 1,400 years ago by the one who knows all, discovered by man in the 20th century. Also the mountains as Geological pegs to hold the earth crust and tectonics plates. * I write this and ask God's forgiveness. Any error is from me. Anything sound is from the mercy of God.
