Regarding the contradiction mention in Min 9:30. First of all Sahih Bukhari takes care of the correctness of the chain of narration not the precision of the content .Secondly regarding the example you mentioned about the time spent in Makka, the statements mentioned in the narrations were not made by the prophets but by normal people. And if there is a difference between two narrations it doesn't mean there is a contradiction in the hadith itself. Arab did not have a calender before Islam . They did not count the years, rather they estimated them .. However this contradiction doesn't affect the correctness of the chain of narration

Yes this is a good point, I was going to say 13 years is about the exact number of years in Mecca but the number 10 and 15 were just estimates, so it wasn't really a contradiction but just mere expression. Another example is the gray hair of the Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him, different companions saw different numbers at different times.

Islam=Quran + Sunnah aka authentic books of hadith...we need to read 📚correct knowledge will help us Muslims teach and educate others
@AAS-fd6qb2 жыл бұрын
Sunnah doesn't come to us via hadiths. Although I do agree hadiths should still be used for general and historic knowledge however, the prayers, how we fast, pilgrimage etc.. come to us via a living tradition of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Most of the hadith that we have today come to us in the form of book collections 250 years after Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the early Muslims followed the sunnah through seeing what the previous generations did. This is why majority of the Ummah us Sunnis (Hanafis, Malikis, and Shafis) get our sunnah from. It is only in recent times that some neo Salafis have this misconception that the sunnah came to us via hadiths but they didn't. In fact majority of the ummah place thier hand near the stomach, whereas in the hadith it says on the chest. The reason why Hanfis, and Malikis don't follow that is because that is not what they saw the early generations of Muslims doing.

Without hadith we wouldn’t know how to pray or how often. Praying is one of the major signs of a Muslim and many scholars agree that not praying places you into disbelief. That alone should be enough reason on why we need hadith. I also think someone who claims that hadith is unnecessary for Muslims, yet hasn’t bothered to study the science of hadith to come to that conclusion, is rather ridiculous. Those people haven’t read all the hadith, haven’t understood how narrations are passed on, don’t know who the imams are, nor how times and dates even worked back then, haven’t got a full understanding of Classical Arabic, and don’t actually know Islam in its full extent. Yet they’ve decided hadith don’t matter… 😅 Qur’an and sunnah go hand in hand, just like we bear witness to Allah as One, and His Messenger Mohammed ﷺ in a single testimony of faith.

@Niro Pattar it’s amusing to me that many people will have a few verses of Quran or a few hadith (authentic or weak or fabricated) ready for these conversations. It’s like they’re so adamant to prove people wrong. All it does it make others research into Islam to see what the truth is… and ultimately people end up converting to Islam, as can be seen by the growing numbers of Muslims each day. Nice try though, Niro. I hope you find peace while searching through the thousands of hadith looking for mistakes without, as I said, “understanding how chain of narrations work”, and reading into the context behind each and every one” The people of hadith spent lifetimes studying it, so a random person on the internet with a few bits and pieces he found on some website or reading a couple of books is a tad embarrassing to even debate with. Ultimately, a Muslim that is devout and strong in their faith is not swayed or bothered much by people looking for faults. We pray for your guidance and wish you well.

@Niro Pattar 😂😂😂 just the fact that you think an explanation from a stranger commenting on a KZbin video will be sufficient for you shows that you aren’t serious. No one is sugar coating anything. I just don’t think anyone on the internet owes you an explanation. If you really truly care to find out information about something so important, and you’re so adamant to prove that you’re right, maybe you should allocate your time to proper sources of information instead of coming to a converts video demanding context from strangers. It’s so predictable… on almost every comment where a Muslim shows any sign of being content with their religion, there is always someone who’s demanding explanations for things they barely looked into. If you feel these hadith that you feel are illogical and don’t make sense, amongst, I’m assuming the many thousands of other hadith you surely must have read (🙄), then why not give the same energy to researching them? It’s okay to disagree with a religion or an opinion. Research it or not, believe it or not, it doesn’t affect anyone else, so why are you stressed whether someone agrees with you or thinks you’re wrong? I made my comment as that’s what I believe. I think any other opinion is silly. But I’m not going to debate either. At least not on here where I don’t even know who I’m talking to. You might be a 12 year old kid who just watched 3 islamaphobic videos and wants to prove something. It would be very silly for me to take this further in that case. Just like it’s very silly for you to want religious education from a KZbin comment.

Very happy to see you progress in Islam, but you made a major error: Da'eef Ahadeeth are NOT fabricated. Mawdoo Ahadith are fabricated. Daeef Ahaadeeth are valid and completely correct; acting upon them is rewarded and not acting upon them is not punished. I'd humbly suggest you study the science of Hadith with a scholar; it is a very rewarding and important activity. EDIT: upon watching the entire video, I must say you have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to Hadith. The Shahih collections are not "Impure" and nor are some Ahadith in them "false". I again humbly urge you to study the science of Hadith from its foundations otherwise you will not only misguide yourself but also others. This is a very heavy responsibility; either study and understand the subject matter completely and obtain an ijaza for teaching it, or refrain from talking about it at all.

So…your first correction is right. Da’eef are not necessarily fabricated, there is a chance that Prophet sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam said/did them and there is a chance that he did not; However the scholars are divided about part of their application in a Muslims life, and are united on part. What the scholars are united upon is that Da’eef ahadith are NOT to be used for Ahkaam (rulings). Some Islamic groups contradict this ijmaa (consensus) but that is a mistake. Rulings are only to be based on Sahīh, Hasan-Sahīh, and Hasan hadīth; also no inkaar (prohibiting of evil through warning, shunning, advising, etc.) is to EVER be done based on a weak hadith. Again, another point that is sadly misunderstood in some Islamic movements. Finally, articles of AQEEDA are never to be based on weak Hadiths. All of the above is agreed upon by all of Ahlu Sunnah. Where difference of opinion lays is on whether weak Hadiths can be used to promote virtue and inspire us. Some believe it’s fine to do so as long as they are mentioned as weak, never to be applied as ahkām or aqeeda (as mentioned above), others prefer not to use weak ones at all, stating that there are plenty of strong hadith to cite for this purpose, and concerned over the confusion that laymen fall into by knowing many weak Hadiths. Allah knows best.

I think for every hadith in Sahih al-bukhari there is an alternative chain of narration that bypasses Imam Al-Bukhari
@غازيبنالأمين2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Sister for the summary you gave about the subject. However, there are a couple of points worth mentioning. 1. The reason behind this so-called “Qurannist” movement, is that those tiny portion of people reject the Sunnah and Hadiths because their ultimate goal is to reject the different rulings (Ahkams) and acts of worship of Islam. The majority of Ahkams are outlined and detailed in the Hadiths not Quran, they want to remove the Sunnah from the equation so they can interpret the Quran as they wish, and reject the rulings that do not go along with their desires, we have seen their narrative evolve over time from questioning the ruling about Hijab, to rejecting the obligation of Salat even. 2. Saying that Sahih Bukhari contains contradictions is a very bold statement! The conditions that Imam Bukhari has put in place to accept Hadiths were unparalleled and unprecedented, and his book was reviewed and scrutinized by the greatest scholars of Hadiths of his time, and they could question no more than a 110 Hadiths - (not because they were weak Hadiths but because those Hadiths in their opinion had a better chains of narrations then the ones he accepted), and even those Hadiths that were questioned Bukhari was right about them as many scholars of Hadiths stated centuries later. I’m a student of Hadith (a beginner), and studying the science of Hadith is not that simple. Many people fail to understand how Sahih Bukhari is structured, and how one need to approach it. As many scholars from the past said, the science and the genius of Bukhari resides in the way he structured the chapters of his book. The other thing that most people fail to understand is that Bukhari included in his book some narrations as informative texts only and they’re not part of Sahih Bukhari - Those are called “Moaalakat”, and every student of Hadith knows that those are not considered part of the list of Sahih Hadiths in Bukhari’s book. There are fundamentals to go by when learning the science of Hadiths - it’s a life long journey, and if one is not well equipped he will definitely confuse a lot things. May Allah bless you and keep us all steadfast on the right path. Ramadan Mubarak.

Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!"●And they would say: "Our Lord! We obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us as to the (right) Path.●"Our Lord! Say: Allah directs you] [ who obeys the Messenger, obeys Allah] And (the Messenger) means the bearer of the message, and he did not say obey the Prophet once, knowing that the two words are mentioned in the Qur’an, so the word (Prophet) means the Prophet personally. [ it is he Who has sent down to you the Book: In it are verses fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings] If we are going to take the Qur’an with its likeness, then we are doing a temptation If the Prophet says to his wife that I will go to the bathroom, is this considered a revelation? And as I said, the Prophet has mistakes , such as [why did you authorize them.] ● [why You forbid what God has permitted. You seek the pleasures of your wives.] ●[So know that there is no god but God and ask forgiveness for your sin].How can he tell him: Know if he knows ●[May God forgive you for your past and late sins] And The revelation is from the Qur’an [And This Qur’an was revealed to me to warn you of it.] [in that We reveal to you this Qur'an] The Prophet is also a Messenger, but you do not find a verse say. Obey the Prophet, but you will find about nine verses say. Obey the Messenger Do we deny the Qur’an and believe the one who orders [the breastfeeding of the older woman, the marriage of the young woman, the killing of the apostate, the killing of the one who does not pray, the stoning of the adulterer, camel urine and invalidation verses from the Qur’an with hadiths] How is inclusion after this? !!!

One important point I would like to Highlight (if I may) which is that, whenever we see aAHadith collection (wether they are Sahih or Da’ef) first thing to realize is that they are in bits and pieces of information of “whole subject matter” (just like pieces in jigsaw puzzle) second important thing to be very careful about when reading the Hadith collection is that any time we see any “Personal Opinion of A Sahabi” (Disciple of the Prophet) on any subject matter, it is not consider as Devine but rather it’s is just consider as his/her personal opinion on that matter or a historical piece of information which needs further investigation to get to the right conclusion after validating other source of information for that specific subject matter until we get to Ijma’ (consensus) on that specific matter or information. Thus, We never draw our conclusions on any matter until there is a “validation of the Prophet” on that “subject matter”. As you have rightly quoted from the Qur’an (4/59) فإن تنازعتم في شيء فردوه إلى الله والرسول إن كنتم تؤمنون بالله واليوم الآخر Therefore, in every subject matter it is incumbent upon the believers to refer everything back to Prophet of Allah, otherwise it will Just considered a Humanly opinion or guesstimate on that subject matter and not Divine. Hope it may clarify some points and gives you some cautions about Hadith Collection before approaching them. In sha’ Allah. May Allah bless you and increase you in faith and knowledge - Ameen You are Truly an inspiration for All of Us. Ma sha’ Allah - BarakaAllahu feeki

*(Part 2/2)* In the end, I think faith & our relationship to God is without a doubt a personal journey that each person needs to take and experience for themselves, and we will all end up in different places. But as for me, I can at least say one thing for sure: I will never let a troubling or strange Hadith (even if it is labeled ‘Sahih’) to cast doubt or shake my faith, since I no longer regard it as being equal or even highly comparable to God’s holy & supreme word in the Qur’an, which is the true foundation of my faith. This is a major discussion that needs to be had (and many people finally ARE having it now due to the Internet), and we need to start seeking truth for ourselves and relying on God to guide us, rather than treating our pastors, rabbis, or imams as “lords” who we blindly follow into telling us everything we need to do and say (as God Himself warns about in Qur’an 9:31). But unfortunately, many Muslims ARE experiencing doubts that stem from anti-Qur’anic Hadith, such as the alleged law of stoning to death an adulterer (contradicted by Qur’an 24:1-2), and so on and so forth. You can notice for yourself that MOST of your he criticisms against Islam are ultimately based on Hadith, NOT Qur’an. And even if it is Qur’an, it is usually an interpretation BASED on the Hadith. And to anyone who responds by saying “But how could God lead so many Muslims into having false beliefs or understandings?” I simply tell them to look at the Christians, who have gone hundreds of years believing into ENORMOUSLY false beliefs (such as the Trinity or blood sacrifice for forgiveness), despite God sending them His revelation through Jesus Christ the son of Mary. I would also ask such skeptics this: Don’t you believe that the Children of Israel turned away from God after worshipping the golden calf (the WORST sin imaginable), despite Prophet Moses HIMSELF being with them and them having JUST seen all of God’s great miracles when he saved them out of Egypt?…That only took 40 days after Moses went up to speak with God. What then, do you think of the Prophet Muhammad leaving US for ONE THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED YEARS?…. Think about it. If nothing else, it is serious food for thought. But in the end, I do believe that traditional Islam (which accepts both Qur’an and Sunnah) is on the right track, and the major beliefs in God, the prophets, Judgement Day, and so on & so forth, make it closer to the truth than any other religion or philosophy. It is just the ‘Sunnah’ part of it which I think needs more investigation. And in the end, don’t forget that the Qur’an itself warns us that the Messenger will have ONE complaint to God on Judgement Day. Not that we didn’t follow his Sunnah…but on the contrary: *”The Messenger will say, ‘O my Lord! Indeed, my people had ABANDONED this Qur’an!’”* (Qur’an 25:30) But once again, thank you sister. I truly appreciate you sharing your story and clarification on this matter, and I think we can both agree that following God is the best course of action, and that the Qur’an is most important when we want to determine what to believe and what we must do to attain salvation. And I ask God to continually bless you and your family, and bless us all during this wonderful month of Ramadan, and to guide us along the correct path, and forgive us all our sins and transgressions. Ameen. Salam once again, sister, and Ramadan Mubarak :) May the Almighty bless you abundantly • { *_”Among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in God, and in what was revealed to you, and in what was revealed to them. They are humble before God, and they do not sell God’s revelations for a cheap price. Such people will have their reward with their Lord! God is swift in reckoning!”_* _(Qur’an 3:199)_ } • { *_These are God’s Ayāt which we relate to you with the truth. So in which Hadith apart from God and His Ayāt Will they believe?”_* _Qur’an 45:6_ }

السلام عليكم أختي في الله Dear sister, Imaam al-Bukhaariyy is one of the greatest scholars of Islaam and his entire collection of hadiiths is authentic without a doubt based on the scrupulous inspection and compliation it rigorously underwent before being compiled , spanning many long, diligent years, and having the checking and acceptance of the greatest scholars of Islaam spanning centuries, to this day. I am very concerned at the grave errors in this talk, at your criticism of Sahiih al-Bukhaari and by extension, the Shaykh himself, at your erronous stance about the Qur'aan, at your lack of connection with the scholars (whom had you contacted, would have guided you to the right position regarding Hadiith and cleared the confusions you hold). Sister, these opinions of yours - if not corrected - will ruin the high esteem you are currently enjoying. This is because esteem is proportionate to adherence to the Haqq. I advise you sister to seek more knowledge under the guidance of a Shaykh and to remove this video. هداكِ الله وإيانا إلى الصواب والحق.

They only follow Torah, not the Prophets. The Torah is earthly. The Psalms is divine. All the other Prophets flow from the spring of it's symbolism for sure. If the Prophet David on whom be peace didn't write it. It was a pure righteous soul worthy of an ear. Bless him. I think you would have been like Maryam(as). She wouldn't have believed in the false allegations alleged by Rabbi's against the righteous Prophet's. You need the Psalms like Quran to breathe. Torah isn't enough. Bless your efforts

To our sister who is newly convert. I congratulate you on your journey to Islam. But after watching the video to the end I was so shocked to hear you saying some Ahadith in Sahih Al-Bukhari are not true and saying sunna is "impure". It is a huge responsibility to put a video out there to discuss the sunna and Ahadith of the prophet if you haven't studied it in depth from muslim scholars. People do 6-year degrees in studying the science of Ahadith and how they are classified and how these respected Sahabah and Tabieen (الصحابة و التابعين) , how these respected people kept the narrations from the mouth of the prophet secure and safe from any change for more than 1400 years and classified them in tiers into Saheeh (True), Hasan (Good), Daeef (week), Mawdooa (fabricated). All based on very strict rules like studying the text of the hadith itself and studying the life and how trustworthy each and every person in the narration chain was. I also have limited knowledge in this respect so if I said anything wrong above please correct me because it is a huge responsibility and a HUGE MISTAKE to throw doubts and question the validity of the true Ahadith without studying the context and this branch of science. That's why Islamic knowledge cannot be obtained by just reading and self-teaching yourself because you can easily misinterpret things and add things from your previous knowledge such as MashaAllah you have a very good background in Taurah and all the Jewish books but really in order for you to be on the safe side in your journey to Allah as a Muslim I highly recommend you to study العلم الشرعي the Islamic knowledge from a scholar throgh a trusted school maybe since you are in Jerusalem MashaAllah. Please don't let yourself and others go astray because you are following your own judgement and interpreting things yourself without in depth knowledge. Please excuse me for my lengthy message. I love you. I wish you all the best and may Allah keep you and us all on the right path ❤🤲 وأخيراً أوصيكِ و نفسي بهذا الدعاء: اللهم أرنا الحق حقاً وارزقنا اتباعه و أرنا الباطل باطلاً و ارزقنا اجتنابه

But the messenger Muhammed (pbuh) is dead. That verse is when he was alive. And the only purpose of Muhammed is to deliver only the message (Quran) and know we have the Quran the true message that our prophet Muhammed (pbuh) delivered. Many times in the Quran Muhammed (pbuh) duty was to only be a clear Warner to only deliver what was revealed (the revelation) the Quran. If hadith are necessary then you say Allah is a liar for Him stating that there will be no other hadith than the Quran!

"The modern scholars after Bukhari all proved the authenticity of the hadiths conveyed by Bukhari in his book" no they didn't where did you even get that from? There are numourous things in "Sahih" al Bukhari that still clash with Qur'an and logic and reason not to mention that some chains have Khawarij in them that narrate some very strange and violent stuff yet Bukahari still put them in his collection. Early traditional Hanafis and Malikis were very wary of hadiths so I'm not sure where you got that shcolars all agreed that Bukhari is super authentic and doesn't clash with Qur'an. Maybe neo salafi scholars think that but not traditional Sunni scholars. Please provide proof to your comment.

@@AAS-fd6qb I can't give you enough proof here in the comments so I said you should learn the science of talking and look more at whether the conversations in true bukhari are all true or not. And don't forget, that you too didn't give evidence of what you're saying. As for the term Salafism, it is a modern term that did not exist before, while it is the hadith people or (Ahl Al Hadith) who call it Salafism. Today's talk about Salafism is very general and does not dim on any origins. There are many conditions for verifying the validity of the hadith and many books have been written in this science and many responses to arguments and proofs on the doubters about the validity of the hadiths contained in Sahih Al-Bukhari. The media and its talk about Salafism and the like should not be influenced by slogans that it says have no origin and are not true. At the very least, if a person can't read in the books. Those who believe in Bukhari's hadith, evidence and proofs should be heard and heard by those who do not believe in Bukhari's health, proofs and evidence, compare the proofs and see who is right without prejudice against a sect because of the media. I'm sorry for the mistakes in writing because I'm using google translate. Have a nice day brother or sister 😁

The presence of khawarij and mu'tazila in the hadiths is not proof that these hadiths are not true. As for the existence of violent speech in these conversations. Those who do not understand the Qur'an well can think so even in the Qur'an. But when you see any incident, this conversation comes down and all the information about it is collected, the real picture appears.

⚫ “We did not send any Messenger but for him to be obeyed by the permission of Allāh.” [Al-Qur’an 4:63] Almighty Allāh made obeying His Messenger(ﷺ) tantamount to obeying Himself, and He placed obedience to Himself alongside obedience to His Messenger (ﷺ). Allāh promises that doing this will result in an abundant reward and threatens a severe punishment for opposing it. He made it obligatory to obey the things that the Prophet(ﷺ)commanded and to avoid those he prohibited. The commentators and Imams have said that obeying the Messenger(ﷺ) means to cling to his Sunnah and submit to what he brought to us. They said that Allāh the Almighty did not send a Messenger(ﷺ) without obliging those to whom he was sent to obey him and that obeying the Messenger(ﷺ) in his Sunnah is equivalent to obeying Allah in His obligations. Sahl at-Tustari was asked about the Shari’ah of Islam and he quoted, “Take what the Messenger brings you.” [Al-Qur’an 59:7] Abu Salamah ibn ‘Abdur-Rahman heard Abu Hurayrah say that the Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever obeys me has obeyed Allāh. Whoever rebels against me has rebelled against Allāh. Whoever obeys my Amir has obeyed me. Whoever rebels against my Amir has disobeyed me.” [sahih Muslim and Al-Bukhari] Obeying the Messenger(ﷺ) is part of obeying Almighty Allāh, since Allāhcommands that he be obeyed. True obedience is obedience to Allāh’s command and therefore obedience to His Prophet(ﷺ) . Allāh talks about the unbelievers in the depths of the Fire saying, “On the day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they will say, ‘Would that we had obeyed Allāh and that we had obeyed the Messenger.’ ” [Al-Qur’an 33:66] They will wish they had obeyed, when the wish will not profit them. The Prophet(ﷺ)said: “When I forbid you to do something, avoid it. When I command you to do something, then do it as much as you are able.” [sahih Muslim and Al-Bukhari] In the hadith of Abu Hurayrah we find that the Prophet(ﷺ)said, “All of my community will enter the Garden except for those who refuse to.” They asked, “O Messenger of Allāh, who will refuse?” He replied, “Whoever obeys me will enter the Garden. Whoever rebels against me has refused.” [Al-Hakim] IIN

The Obligation to Obey him, our Beloved Prophetﷺ. [Many Muslims declare that they will only adhere to what’s revealed in the Holy Qur’an, and not pay any mind to any *man-made* ahadith, as they say. But what is failed to be recognized, is the instruction of Allāh Ta’ala IN THE QUR’AN, in many Ayât, to listen to and obey His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). It is required of us as believers of The One Almighty and His final messenger (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) and the Day of Judgement, to obey what our Beloved (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said and did.] As for the obligation to obey the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him), belief in him demands it. Confirmation of what he brought to us requires obedience to him because this is part of what he brought: ⚫ Allāh says, “O you who believe, obey Allah and His Messenger..” [Al-Qur’an 8:20] ⚫ “Say: obey Allāh and obey the Messenger … ” [Al-Qur’an 24:54] ⚫ He says, “Obey Allah and the Messenger and perhaps you will be shown mercy.” [Al-Qur’an 3:132] ⚫ “If you obey him, you will be guided..” [Al-Qur’an 24:54] ⚫ “Whoever obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah..” [Al-Qur’an 4:79] ⚫ “Take that what the Messenger brings you and leave what he forbids you..” [Al-Qur’an 59:7] ⚫ “Whoever obeys Allāh and the Messenger is with those whom Allāh has blessed.” [Al-Qur’an 4:68]

I was also confused with Islam since they believe that the five Books of Moses (The Torah) are from god, and given to Moses (Musa), but that doesn’t really make sense, since they don’t follow all the rules written in the 5 Books of Moses and I heard that some Muslims say that the Torah and Bible have been corrupted. But I just don’t understand this, since there have been Torah scrolls found hundreds of years before Muhammed and they read the same Torah as the Torah the Jews read today. Shouldn’t Muslims take the Quran as an authority and also the 613 commandments in the 5 Books of Moses?

Salaam :) We Muslims believe in all Prophets of God. There is just one God and Jewish, Christians and Muslims believe in the same God. This is written in the Quran. We believe in all Scriptures from God like the Torah that given to Prophet Moses peace be upon him and the Bible/evangelium that given to Jesus peace be upon him and other Scriptures that given Prophet Abrahim peace be upon him etc. and of course the Quraan that given Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Some Scriptures don’t exist anymore, some exist til now like Torah, Bibel, Quran. But the Original Torah and Bibel don’t exist anymore. Islam is very simple. We believe that there is just one God and he send always Prophets to the people who did not believe in God. God send Prophet Muhammad to the whole world. Other Prophets like Moses just to the Children Israel. Quran is just the last message to the humans. It’s just an update. God send the Quran because the Torah and the Bibel were not the original form anymore. There are right stuff but a lot wrong stuff too. God had to clean the names of the Prophets. For example, Prophet Solomon did magic in the Thora. But God cleaned his name in the Quran and said that Prophet Solomon would never do such big sins and there are a lot of other examples. Even if Torah, Bibel are original like Quran, we would follow the Quran because it’s the last update from God. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is even mentioned in the Torah and Bibel. Jews even immigrated in Medina back then and they were telling the Arabs: You will see, our Prophet will come. Because Arabs were believing in stones..That means that the Jews understood the Torah right, back then, that a prophet from Medina will come. But when he really did come ( Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), they did not want to believe him because he was arab..They thought, it will be like always, a prophet to the Children Israel, but God send enough prophets to them and the Arabs were complaining always saying, we have not a scripture in our language, why should we believe in God.. So we don’t take the 5 Books of Moses as an authority too because we believe it’s not the original anymore, so we don’t know what is right and what is wrong and because it’s the same author right? It is from same God, and God told us to follow his last update, the Quran. If you interested, you can watch this video: It’s about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the Bibel, I think it’s the Old Testament, so the Torah to :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/nqHRqmdqhJWYe7M

It's not only because of corruption, it's because Jesus (pbuh) and Muhammad (pbuh) were not only prophets, but also messengers (like Moses (pbuh)). What Jesus (pbuh) said according to the Quran- Quran 3:50 And [I have come] confirming what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, so fear Allāh and obey me. The law was changed (however nowhere near to the degree to what Paul was preaching). "According to the majority of scholars, a prophet is the one who receives divine revelation but is not commanded to convey it to people, whereas a messenger is the one who is commanded to convey the divine revelation he has received to people. It has also been said that the messenger is the one who is sent with new legislation, whereas the prophet is the one who comes as a follower of a previous set of legislations. Allah Knows best." - islamweb

@@randomcommenter8626 I understand everything you said, except for when the Quran says "what was before me of the Torah and to make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you." So this is Jesus speaking, but is he saying that certain things "was" forbidden. So is Jesus saying that there are certain things we now shouldn't follow from the Torah? This is my main concern and question since there a many laws which the Torah has and many things which are forbidden in the Torah, but is allowed in Islam and the Quran. That is the only thing that confuses me since the word of god could never change, as far as I'm concerned!
@NYCAron2 жыл бұрын
@@randomcommenter8626 I know that Muslims generally believe if there are new scriptures given from prophets and messengers, its either adding new instruction and law or updating the law, so that would make sense to why Muslims don't see the Torah as an authority any more. In Be-midbar (Numbers) 23:19, God says "God is not human to be capricious, Or mortal to have a change of heart. Would [God] speak and not act, Promise and not fulfill?" Its basically saying that god wouldn't ever change and I see that as god wouldn't ever change his laws or what he commands, and this is mentioned in many places in the Torah. Also there has been scrolls found which aren't changed or corrupted and are the same written in hebrew as they were thousands of years ago, so I feel that if anything is followed from the Torah, it should also be followed by Muslims. I'll give a small example, in Devarim (Deuteronomy) 14:7 God says "But the following, which do bring up the cud or have true hoofs which are cleft through, you may not eat: the camel, the hare, and the daman-for although they bring up the cud, they have no true hoofs-they are impure for you" It says that the Camel, hare and any other animal that doesn't have both split hoofs and chew there cud aren't pure and shouldn't be consumed, but in Islam, as far as I know, they are halal, so either the Quran hasn't mentioned these animals at all to be haram, or it specifically says they are halal. I know this is may seem silly to bring this up over a small discrepancy like this, but there are many between the Torah and Quran, and the only thing that would make make me believe that God would ever change his word is if there's proof that the Torah was corrupted, which it couldn't have been since the Five Books of Moses and all the parts of which have been found by archeologists are identical to what Jews read today in Hebrew!
@randomcommenter86262 жыл бұрын
@@NYCAron I was gonna bring up a verse related to that! Quran 6:146 And to those who are Jews We prohibited every animal of uncloven hoof; and of the cattle and the sheep We prohibited to them their fat, except what adheres to their backs or the entrails or what is joined with bone. [By] that We repaid them for their transgression. And indeed, We are truthful. In fact, it mentions it as a burden upon the children of Israel, for their transgression. Quran 2:286 ... Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. ...

*(Part 1/2)* Salam sister, thanks for the video! I’m glad you made this because it was in the back of my mind after having just watched your conversion story video (which was fantastic by the way, God bless you & your family). I’m also glad you had a “conclusion” section here, since the 2nd half of your video sounded hardcore Quranist lol, which almost sounded contradictory from the first half (but don’t worry, you were clear at the end). I myself went from a journey of traditional Islam to more Qur’anic Islam a few years ago, after months and years of research and learning (and praying), after noticing clear contradictions between SAHIH Ahadith and the Qur’an that disturbed me, where I finally concluded that even if SOME Hadith are true, I definitely agree with you that the Qur’an MUST reign supreme as our ultimate source of belief & practice, and that to put the Hadith on par with the Qur’an is a big mistake. But as you may know, traditional Sunni Islam DOES consider the ‘authentic’ (Sahīh) Hadith as essentially being co-equal Scripture alongside the Qur’an, with EQUAL power in laying out beliefs and laws. Most Muslim laymen themselves don’t even realize this (but they undoubtedly feel it’s effects, since a whopping 80-90% of all Islamic laws & practices are in fact derived from Hadith instead of the Qur’an!), and many Muslim scholars THEMSELVES don’t usually admit the Hadith as being this powerful, even though in actuality it is. (There is even a famous saying of the old scholars that shockingly says “The Qur’an is MORE in need of the Sunnah than the Sunnah is in need of the Qur’an”)…This is also one of the reasons which made me pull away from strict traditional Hadith-based Islam, since people around me (including scholars) were treating the Qur’an almost like a holy chanting book that you just sing from (but don’t actually practice), whereas the TRUE guidance comes from the Prophet (i.e the alleged sayings of him in the Hadith collections). There is even a Sahih Hadith that effectively says this (it reads: “God’s book is the best SPEECH, while the best GUIDANCE belongs to the Prophet”) And that definitely didn’t sit with me right, and it still doesn’t (which is why Qur’an is #1 for me like you said). To be honest I unfortunately see a great bulk of modern Muslims falling into the dangerous trap that is mentioned and warned about in Qur’an 62:5 (read it & see). I think Muslims need to move back closer to the Qur’an and not rely on Hadith & Scholars (“Rabbis”) as much as they currently do. It is leading many of us astray. The truth is, however, some Sahih Hadiths DO in fact contradict the Qur’an. For example, the Ahadith will tell you that fanged-tooth animals like tigers are forbidden to eat (harām). This is a law of traditional Islam. But in the Qur’an, it is powerfully declared in the most EXPLICIT and UNAMBIGUOUS of terms (almost as if God KNEW of the future corruption that would take place) that the ONLY four foods which are Haram for us to eat are blood, swine, animal carcasses, and idol-sacrificed foods-and NOTHING else. (See Qur’an 6:145 for the most clear-cut example of this, which even scholars have trouble explaining). There are many other examples of this phenomenon as well, including the Sahih Hadith’s teaching that the Prophet Muhammad will be an intercessor (shafī’) for us on Judgement Day, even to those who committed MAJOR sins (murder, adultery, etc), which COMPLETELY contradicts the Qur’an which says that Judgement Day will have NO intercessors for you to rely on, and that ALL control & decision will be God’s alone. You must repent and get right with God if you want salvation-a mediator CANNOT save you. There are COUNTLESS verses in the Qur’an to this effect, and one of them even has God TELLING the Prophet himself (in Surah Al-Zumar [39]): “Do you actually think YOU could save someone from the fire of Hell, when I MYSELF have already sentenced them to the punishment that they deserve?” The verses are frighteningly clear, and yet many Muslims are still led astray into believing that they can put their hope in the Prophet’s intercession (or even praying to dead saints!) instead of truly fearing God and taking command of their own life, and realizing that God alone stands between themselves & Paradise or Hell. And this is ultimately due to such contradictory Hadith. And there are many more examples which can be given. By the way, just in regards to your statement that Rabbinic interpretation isn’t the same as Hadith, I would just like to state that there ARE Rabbis out there (and even some statements within the Midrash if I’m not mistaken-please correct me since you know better) which say that the details of the Mitsvot are not merely made up, but ultimately go back to Moses himself or Joshua, or the priests under them as they passed on their traditions from generation to generation. And this is the SAME framework that Hadith work under, which makes them very similar. The only question that remains of course is whether it’s TRUE, which the many contradictions between Sahih Hadith & Qur’an (among other things) shows me it is not in its entirety. Also, similar to the Rabbinic interpretation of things, the science of Hadith is very arbitrary. God never sent down a list of criteria that we need for accepting Hadith-it was all developed by regular human beings like you and me. In fact, did you know that the two groups of Hadith which are mandatory for believing & practicing are not only Sahih, but HASAN Ahadith? And did you know that a Hasan Hadith can be the combination of two WEAK (yes, DA’IF) Hadith? That means some of traditional Islam’s practices and teachings are the result of Weak, fallible traditions. But how they are interpreted or combined is all up the scholars who do the work, and they are not fallible. But how can such an arbitrary, man-made system and method of rules be taken as inspiration or revelation from God? That is the problem. And my answer to that question is that it probably can’t.

@@yonahsaunders7102 I hope you realize that whenever you people act desperate to want us to “leave Islam”, it does nothing but in fact STRENGTHEN our faith, since God in the Qur’an constantly warns us that this is exactly what you will do. So to us, it is a perfect fulfillment of God’s prophecy in the Qur’an, which therefore increases and boosts our faith. So thank you for that. I really appreciate it. But of course, I’m going to have to decline your offer, because I’m 100% convinced that the Qur’an is the word of the Creator, which I humbly invite you to accept and submit to your Lord, before the Day of Judgement arrives and you wholeheartedly regret it. And if you disagree, then bring forth your proof of what you’re saying is true. Give me YOUR arguments & evidences yourself, instead of re-directing me to some random Turkish KZbin who makes a living by bashing Islam, the religion of a quarter of humanity. And if you don’t have the knowledge or evidence to convince me yourself, then you shouldn’t be rejecting Islam in the first place. You should be humble enough to read the Qur’an from start to finish, with a sincere mind & heart, and first gain enough knowledge to make a decision one way or the other. So respectfully do that first, and then we can talk. • *_”They would love nothing more than to see you reject your faith, just as they have disbelieved, so that you could be the same! All the ahadith you showed regarding the wives/women of Sulayman are authentic and sound. Bukhari just compiled narrations with authentic chains of narrators. The scholars of hadith still had to deal with contradicting information. They gather all hadith and come to conclusion. They don’t just study one hadith. They studied each narrator of the chain of narrators.

Why is it that the Quran doesn't mention how many times to pray? One of the 5 pillars of Islam is Salat (Prayer). Can someone clarify, thank you.
@Syria_Free_Palestine_will_too2 жыл бұрын
Because It's the job of The Prophet to explicit what was revealed as Allah said in [An-Nahl: 44] (And We have sent down to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Reminder, so that you may explain to people what has been revealed for them, and perhaps they will reflect.) And The prayer is revealed: (and establish prayer.) [Al-Ankabut: 45] So The Prophet ﷺ will explain how to establish it. and that's will be more logical than if it was mentioned in Quran because watching someone praying is easier to understand than reading how to pray books.

With respect to how many years the Messenger preached in Mecca, it is irrelevant to the tenants of the faith or to haram or halal issues Similarly, the reports about the wives of Nabi Suleiman are not the core of the belief. Even the Hadiths which are considered weak, they are not evil or contradictory to the core of the belief. They're classified as weak because of the breakdown in traceability and following them is not haram. only one class of Hadith MUST be followed and that is the Mutawater Hadiths. Those hadiths are absolute words of God, but constructed by the Messenger, where the Qur'an is the words of God and constructed by God.

//Quran about extra-Quranic revelation// ~ And when the Prophet confided to one of his wives a statement; and when she informed [another] of it and *Allāh showed it to him*, he made known part of it and ignored a part. And when he informed her about it, she said, "Who told you this?" He said, "*I was informed by the Knowing, the Aware*." (Quran 66:3) Through revelation the Prophet was informed that his wife passed on his statement to others without permission. However, this revelation is is not found in the Quran. ~ The foolish among the people will say: What has turned them away from their qibla, which they used to face? …. And *We did not make the qiblah which you used to face* except that We might make evident who would follow the Messenger … We will surely turn you to a qibla with which you will be pleased. So turn your face toward al-Masjid al-Haram (Quran 2:142-145) Changing of the qibla from Jerusalem to Mecca is mentioned in the Quran. However, the original command to face Jerusalem during prayer is not found in the Quran. The statement “We did not make the qibla which you used to face except …” indicates that Allah “did make” the original qibla which the Prophet “used tu face” by means of a command through another type of revelation. //Verses about obeying the Messenger// ~ But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you [Muhammad] judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission. (Quran 4:65) ~ He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allāh; but those who turn away - We have not sent you over them as a guardian. (Quran 4:80) ~ Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written [i.e., described] in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and prohibits them from what is wrong and makes lawful for them what is good and forbids them from what is evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were upon them. So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him - it is those who will be the successful. (Quran 7:157) //Fallacies committed by Hadith rejectors// ~ A more common trend is the rejection of ḥadīth due to doubt concerning the preservation of ḥadīth. There might be a recognition that the Qur'ān requires that the Prophet be followed, but the concern is that his words have not been preserved in a similar manner as the Qur'ān. This argument is based on the assumption that, unlike the Qur’ān, some ḥadīth books contain inauthentic statements that are unreliable and often contain conflicting narrations. This perspective implies that Muslims are commanded to follow the Prophet but that the reports about him are unreliable. The Andalusian scholar Ibn Ḥazm (d. 456/1064) disputes this argument by saying that doubting the authenticity of the entire ḥadīth corpus involves contending that God made it mandatory to obey the Messenger but made it impossible to do so. It does not befit God that He would command Muslims to follow something that is not accurately preserved; otherwise God would be requiring them to follow something that does not exist or to follow a falsified report about the religion. ~ The rituals are but one example; even the meanings of particular words in the Qur'ān require the Sunnah to be understood. For example, some ḥadīth rejecters have attempted to translate and understand the Qurʾān using only the Qurʾān. However, they still rely on extra-Qur'ānic material and ḥadīth tradition because they consult Arabic dictionaries. The earliest Arabic dictionary, Kitāb al-ʿAyn was written by al-Khalīl b. Aḥmad (d. 175/795). This dictionary and others like it were passed down by the same scholars who preserved ḥadīth. How do we know the authenticity of this dictionary? It has been ultimately passed down through the same generations that passed down ḥadīth. If scholars gathered en masse to fabricate sayings about the Prophet, then everything in Islamic history, including Arabic dictionaries and the Qurʾān, must be similarly suspect to be false and fabricated. ~ The idea that one can use only the Qur'ān to understand and translate the Qur'ān does not work without resorting to extra-Qur'ānic texts. For instance, the word ẓihār is found in chapter 58 verses 2-4. Ḥadīth literature defines ẓihār as a husband’s saying to his wife, “You are like the back of my mother to me,” which was a statement of irrevocable divorce. Hadith rejectors like Yuksel translates ẓihār according to this traditional understanding. However, the verb ẓāhara does not appear anywhere else in the Qurʾān with this meaning; throughout the rest of the Qurʾān it means to aid or give help. Jonathan Brown states, “By the Reformist Translation’s stated methodology, the verse should be read, awkwardly if at all, ‘He did not make your wives to whom you granted aid from as your mothers.’” The Sunnah is therefore necessary in order to uphold the Qurʾān as a meaningful text. ~ When the Qur'ān states, “Surely We have revealed the dhikr and We will most surely be its guardian” (Qur'ān 15:9), it includes the Sunnah. Ibn Ḥazm notes that scholars are in agreement that all revelation is called dhikr. He argues that the preservation is not limited to the text of the Qur'ān, but it extends to its meaning as well. If the Prophet’s explanation is needed in order to understand the Qur'ān, then it is necessary that this explanation be preserved as well. Without ḥadīth, the Qur'ān would be a text without meaning, which would mean it was not preserved. For example, the verses that address intoxication give contradictory advice: * The Qur'ān states that dates and grapes provide intoxicants and good provision (Qur'ān 16:67); * Wine has some benefits, but its harm outweighs its benefits (Qur'ān 2:219); * Muslims should not approach prayer while intoxicated (Qur'ān 4:43); and * Muslims should completely abstain from wine. (Qur'ān 5:90-91). Without the ḥadīth to provide context, how does the reader know which of these verses was revealed first? Were intoxicants prohibited at first and then gradually allowed except when one was praying or were they allowed at first and then gradually prohibited? The Sunnah provides the necessary context to these verses and others like them. Muslims differ over the interpretation of the Qur’ān, but the Sunnah provides a context that limits the boundaries of interpretation.

I think this will help you: Quran is the word of Allah and there is not doubt as Muslims that we should follow the Quran. Allah said in the Quran to follow Allah and the Messenger. Now what is Hadith. Hadith is what Muhammed (sm) did or said. It was compiled after 200-300 years after Muhammad's death. Allah said He would only preserve the Quran and that it is the last book of guidance for mankind. Allah said to follow Allah And Muhammad not Allah and Bukhari. Bukhari was not a prophet. The hadith tries to explain everything in the Quran but Allah himself said that in Quran there are direct verses and some indirect verses.And only Allah knows its true meaning. And what we are not sure of we should say Allah knows best instead of directly denying it because we cannot know for sure which hadith is actually true or which one is false. . Praise be to Allah, the One, the Wise, the First, the Last and the Everliving.
