I find this really interesting, i have recently been dating a muslim for over a year and half and my love for her is making me question my beliefs and intergrity., it has taken me a while to realise that all bad things that come from this religion ( i Should say dont come from the religion) are the external writes i have almost finished the quran after reading it sincerly and patiently and i have not read a single passage that is to condon most of what i see in society, i have a new found respect islam, i have lost alot of respect for the people that brainwash there children to live a life that is not even advocated in there own religion. Every soul has to bear it's own burden. So, every Muslim not only has a right to have his/her own perspective but a Divine responsibility also. One need not to follow any scholar otherwise he would follow scholar's Islam that would be shirk. One may take their help to understand but definitely not supposed to adhere to. Hadiths are like the written books in the bible. The same way enemy writings got into the bible, enemy writings have got into hadiths. The gospel that Jesus taught was preached verbally. There is one gospel they hid from us which just recorded Jesus's "voice" just dialogues no narrative. Lost gospel of Thomas by the miracle of God found this generation. Many of the Jesus sayings in Matthew, Mark, Luke can be found in gospel of Thomas. No attempt has been made to incorporate this gospel into the Bible because it contradicts the current Christianity doctrine of vicarious atonement. They banned Thomas's gospel because of this: The disciples said to Jesus, "We know that you are going to leave us. Who will be our leader?" Jesus said to them, "No matter where you are, you are to go to James the Just for whose sake heaven and Earth came into being." If Christianity reached us via the Way of James (see book of James), rather than the Way of Paul, it would not be the Christianity we know of today. Islam came about later to restore the true teachings of Jesus.

Peace - I have to disagree. Sam Gerrans translation of the Quran is one of the worst translations. He has made a mockery of the Classical Arabic Quran and has transformed the entire Quran into a mad lib of sorts applying whatever meaning he wants within his translation. Although Rashad's and Edip's translation were adequate for its time it was not satisfactory when it came to 'salat' and 'zakat'. They were still rendering it as contact prayer while a detailed look into where ever that word was used and the context, renders that translation ineffectual. Since you have reached your verdict after reading Sam Gerrans' version then I do not have anything more to say. God knows best and may God guide us to the straight path.

Salamun Alaykum Brother, great video!. Im currently investigating the same topic. Id like for you to check out verse 30:31-32 Then 9:113-114 and 19:44-49. With a focus on the definition of Musrikeens. What category would you place Ibrahim's father within these 3 definitions - Polytheist, Pagan or Musrikeen, in particular how Musrikeen is being described/defined in 30:32 in particular. How would then would one accurately define and are the Sectarians, all of them, fall in this category? Also notice the terms used by Ibraheem when speaking to his father, what does that tell us about his father? also pay close attention to how "Min Doo ni" مِن دُونِ is being translated across the Quran. Then link it back to 30:32. Lets see what connections you can make... if you like to take a stab at it at least. Salams.

Question from a Christian brother, please need your view and answer. Thanks I have been reading and studying the Quran a lot. It appears to me that Muhammad (PBUH) respected the Before Books. I cannot find any ayat stating that the Before Books have been corrupted or changed. The passages that talk about the Jews twisting the words of the Torah do not talk about the actual Book being corrupted. I cannot find where the Christians corrupted or changed the Injil. Of course the Jews never accepted the Injil. It appears to me that at the time of the prophet, the Injil was uncorrupted and unchanged. Can you point out to me any ayat stating that Christians corrupted the Injil? Need assistance please This is from a Christian brother. Jazak ALLAH

Peace, If we accept the Quran as the ultimate truth, then if the Bible contradicts the Quran then this is due to a distortion or concealment. [2:79] Therefore, woe to those who distort the scripture with their own hands, then say, "This is what GOD has revealed," seeking a cheap material gain. Woe to them for such distortion, and woe to them for their illicit gains. [5:41] O you messenger, do not be saddened by those who hasten to disbelieve among those who say, "We believe," with their mouths, while their hearts do not believe. Among the Jews, some listened to lies. They listened to people who never met you, and who distorted the words out of context, then said, "If you are given this, accept it, but if you are given anything different, beware." Whomever GOD wills to divert, you can do nothing to help him against GOD. GOD does not wish to cleanse their hearts. They have incurred humiliation in this world, and in the Hereafter, they will suffer a terrible retribution. [2:159] Those who conceal our revelations and guidance, after proclaiming them for the people in the scripture, are condemned by GOD; they are condemned by all the condemners. [3:71] O followers of the scripture, why do you confound the truth with falsehood, and conceal the truth, knowingly? [5:15] O people of the scripture, our messenger has come to you to proclaim for you many things you have concealed in the scripture, and to pardon many other transgressions you have committed. A beacon has come to you from GOD, and a profound scripture. Regarding specifically the Injeel (Gospel), we don't even have the intact Gospel of Jesus. We only have Gospels that are supposed testimonies about the life of Jesus. Not only are there many more than the four Gospels that are in the Bible, but these Gospel contradict one another. A good book on the subject is How Jesus Became God, by Bart Ehrman. In addition to that much of the writing in the New Testament came from Paul, who twisted the entire religion that Jesus preached. How do you believe Lailahaillallah without Muhammad Rasullullah? Rejection of Hadith = Rejection of Muhammad = Rejection of Allah O you who believe, obey Allah, the Messenger, and those in command among you. If you disagree about something, refer it back to Allah and the Messenger, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best thing to do and gives the best result. (Surat an-Nisa`: 59)

Peace - if one chooses to eat it or not is up to the individual, but to say that God prohibited the fat of the pig is not abiding by what God indicated in the Quran. In 6:145, God informs us specifically what is prohibited. In the following verse, God clarifies that for the Jews, He prohibited the fat in addition. This informs us that God is showing the level of specificity in His prohibitions. [6:145] Say, "I do not find in the revelations given to me any food that is prohibited for any eater except: (1) carrion, (2) running blood, (3) the MEAT of pigs, for it is contaminated, and (4) the meat of animals blasphemously dedicated to other than GOD." If one is forced (to eat these), without being deliberate or malicious, then your Lord is Forgiver, Most Merciful. [6:146] For those who are Jewish we prohibited animals with undivided hoofs; and of the cattle and sheep we prohibited the fat, except that which is carried on their backs, or in the viscera, or mixed with bones. That was a retribution for their transgressions, and we are truthful. [6:150] Say, "Bring your witnesses who would testify that GOD has prohibited this or that." If they testify, do not testify with them. Nor shall you follow the opinions of those who reject our revelations, and those who disbelieve in the Hereafter, and those who stray away from their Lord.

Peace - the 15 verses that some people choose to prostrate when reading the Quran are verses that are in reference to prostrating (sajdeh) ourselves to our Creator. See a couple examples below: [17:107] Proclaim, "Believe in it, or do not believe in it." Those who possess knowledge from the previous scriptures, when it is recited to them, they fall down to their chins, prostrating. [27:25] They should have been prostrating before GOD, the One who manifests all the mysteries in the heavens and the earth, and the One who knows everything you conceal and everything you declare. That being said, it is NOT a commandment to prostrate when reading any of these verses. Therefore, to indicate that this is compulsory to do or sinful not to do would be an innovation, but if one chooses to do so because it is written in the verse is their own decision.

The root فصل means to explain in detail or to be fully detailed. You can find this root in 6:114, 6:119, 7:52, and 10:37 in the context of the Quran being fully detailed.
