I agree. I have never seen the Arabic Roots explained like this in a video. There are articles in academic journals that discuss similar things like the tri-literal roots & meaning & bi-literal roots or the theory of there being 2 letter roots UNDER the three letter and 4 letter roots. But articles books and some classes are the only places that I ever saw anything like this. I never thought I would find something with so much amazingly interesting material related directly to all these topics. These videos are a treasure.

This class opens my eyes to a new world in an amazing way, Mush Allah, I have been trying to learn Quran by myself on the Internet for a realy long time, I even tried to take on-line paid Arabic lessons......nothing works, I was born without a Muslim background and am working in a foreign country where major popularity worships Buddah......Learning Quaran is difficult because I am always alone............anyway, Thank you for the knowledge and wisdom you show in this Video, Brother. It is very precious for me. Alhambudula.

This is a brilliant way of learning vocab in a wholesome way. I like how you showed it all on one page with images so all the different meanings can be connected back to the root word. Also showing examples of each word in an ayah is very useful. JazaakAllah for making this series. May Allah put lots of barakah in it and allow you to make videos in a time-efficient manner Ameen.

One topic that you might found interesting and quite relevant to this sort of research is the study of ancient proto-Semitic photographs . These pictogralh system is what would later evolve into the various Semitic abjads. Why I bring this up is because the meanings of the letters have been linked by some scholars to the ancient pictogralh symbols. Take for instance, the root ملك. This would be ascribed as Mem-Lamed-Kayf which would further be depicted as the symbols for water-crook-hand. Interestingly enough the correlation between this symbols seem to collerate with the root meaning of ملك (authority) if you consider taking (kayf) control (lamed) in response to chaos (Mem). It sounds too far fetched when I explained it but you should really look into it and see for yourself. If I showed you on paper it would be way more interesting.
