Assalamu alaikum everyone, Thank you for your comments. I would like to make a clarification that as far as we, the Sunni Muslims, are concerned the Quran does state one has to make ghusl (bathing as the prophet taught) after major impurity, as is clear from the following verses: Quran 4;43 and 5;6. The context of the terms تغتسلوا or فاطهروا only becomes clear through hadith (the prophetic tradition), as the terms could mean ablution, washing hands/feet or washing anything for that matter.The Quranists, however, have no basis to make ghusl (bath) after major impurity (janabah) without hadith clarifying the meaning of the relevant Quranic terms, hence my argument "show me where it says to make ghusl (bath) after major impurity". Sometimes the argument does not come out clearly and clarifications must be made. Sometimes one even has to plead ignorance to highlight the opponent's ignorance on the matter, hence my statements "I concede defeat"; "throw the hadith in the sea"; "show me how the Quran came to us" etc. These questions do not imply that we don't know the answers, rather these questions are rhetorical methods to highlight the opponent's error. Jazakumullahu khairan.

Adnan Rashid when he mentioned the months you should have asked him where does it say in the quraan that those months were sacred. He also mentioned that the quraan was transmitted, it was ideal to pounce on him and ask how was it transmitted. but basically it was just running away.

The weird thing is, these people do not believe in the sunnah because the transmitters of the hadith were contradicting and unreliable. But at the same time they believe in the quran as the fully word of god, although the quran is transmitted from the same people who transmitted the hadith. Allah Mustaan

I pray hands down straight does it make Any defference?
@aaronblyth21087 жыл бұрын
Mosalman Khub. Not really. If you pray hands down you're probably following Imam Malik, other schools of thought teach that the hands should be in different places. But they are all equally valid.

+Mosalman Khub +Aaron Blyth The Muslim should strive to follow the Sunnah to the best of his ability. The Sunnah is to put the hands on the chest: Ibn Khuzaymah (479) narrated that Waa’il ibn Hujr (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: I prayed with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and he placed his right hand over his left hand on his chest. Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Tahqeeq Saheeh Ibn Khuzaymah. There is no hadeeth to prove that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) let his arms hang by his sides when standing during prayer. Imam Malik رحمه الله let his hands down straight because his arms were dislocated by the governor or some equivalent.

And the ahadeeth about putting the hands below the navel while standing are weak.
