I also noticed some people get up and move when a black person sits next to them and pray next to them, but when I was there to pray people gathered around me to pray (they had no idea I was a westner, I pretend to be Arabic) I also noticed people would invite me to get togethers but no the black people. Racism is such an UGLY topic. A creature of God thinking they r BETTER than another creature of God based on looks, language, RACE, physical features etc. Based on Islamic teaching the first action of racism was performed by Iblis(Satan). He, along with all the angels he was living amongst n Paradise, was commanded by God to prostrate to Adam pbuh, whom God clearly named as HIS GREATEST CREATION to honor God after bringing Adam pbuh to life. All the angels obeyed God's command and prostrated. But Iblis refused. He claimed "My Lord I am BETTER than Adam. You created me from fire and him from mud." So this situation shows pure RACISM of one, (Iblis) vainly claiming that he was BETTER than another creation of God. Even after God told Iblis Adam pbuh was God's greatest creation. So even though Iblis knew Adam pbuh was BETTER than he was, he still vowed to God he was better than Adam pbuh, and refused to prostrate to him. So both Muslims and Non-Muslims who r racists towards others, subconsciously follow the path of Satan and may not even realize it. Racism is evil.

@@ArdoBlueMoon Yes, bright-faced means happy, cheerful, optimistic. Gloomy-faced means disappointed, sad, etc. A white person can be "gloomy-faced" and a black person can be "bright-faced" and vice versa, because emotions dictate how your face appears, not race. What it means is that those who are gloomy-faced are sad because their beliefs will be proven wrong on the day of Judgement, and that means that they are disbelievers. Those who are bright-faced are happy because they knew their beliefs were right, which means they are believers.

Black and white are used as metaphors for evil and goodness. The thing about metaphors is that they are not meant to be interpreted literally hence they do not automatically have a racial implication. Also consider that famous black muslims like Bilal never seemed to have any issue with the metaphorical meanings of black and white.

ISLAM HAS NOTHING TO SAY IN DEFENCE OF BLACK PEOPLE AS Mr MUHAMMAD WAS A WHITE MAN WHO HAD BLACK SLAVES : white thigh, Sahih Bukhari 1.367, white armpit, Sahih Bukhari 2.141, white man, Sahih Bukhari 1.63, 2.122, 4.744, rosy color, Sahih Bukhari 4.747 & 748 Among the people of Arabia, he was discernably of fairer complexion than most people around him. He is distinguished from his companions as "the white man". Ahmad ibn Abi Sulayman, the companion of Sahnun said; “ANYONE WHO SAYS THAT THE PROPHET WAS BLACK SHOULD BE KILLED ." Ibn Musa al-Yahsubi, Qadi ‘Iyad, p.375 WHITE MAN MUHAMMAD HAD BLACK SLAVES : Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 91, Number 368: Narrated 'Umar: I came and behold, Allah's Apostle was staying on a Mashroba (attic room) and a black slave of Allah's Apostle was at the top if its stairs. I said to him, "(Tell the Prophet) that here is 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (asking for permission to enter)." Then he admitted me. ... (cf. Bukhari 3.648, 6.435, 7.119) Note: It does not say "the black slave of Muhammad" it says "a black slave" which is an indication there were more than one. Sahih Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 73, Number 182: Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Apostle was on a journey and he had a black slave called Anjasha, and he was driving the camels (very fast, and there were women riding on those camels). Allah's Apostle said, "Waihaka (May Allah be merciful to you), O Anjasha! Drive slowly (the camels) with the glass vessels (women)!" In addition to the above listed hadiths there are a considerable number of other black slaves mentioned which were owned by `Aisha or some of the companions of Muhammad.
@redflamingo6434 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry 2 tell you but actually the hadiths were written 200 years after the death of the prophet. Islam rejects racism and the first Muslim convert to make Adam ( the call of prayer) was black and there were also black prophets. Slavery goes against Islam. If a hadith goes against the Quran and it's ethics and principles just know that its completely fake. This kind of hadiths were attributed to the prophet to beneficiate the hadith narrator point of view. The prophet NEVER HAD A SLAVE.SO PLEASE DO RESEARCH , don't sink in your own ego and try to learn real stuff

You are reading hadeeths which were written 200 years after prophet Muhammads passing. God is the one that we should only serve so why would God even allow us to have slaves? Slavery is unfair and not right so it has no place in Islam, same as racism, it has no place in Islam. I only follow Quran as the Quran says it is clear and complete so why do I need other books that were written 200 years later to confirm things.
