Totally disagree. I bought one of these because I have suffered chronic back for years, been using it twice daily for 2 months now and the flex ability in my back is improving daily. I am even building ab muscles as during movements I squeeze ab muscles. This for me is life changing. I still suffer back pain and probably will for the rest of my life. For me this is changing my posture and core strength. Think it one of these thing that you can’t just lie there and it will do miracles, you have to work with it.

I agree with rmiller2112 it's very good if you suffer from a stiff or immobile back. It does a gentle stretch and on intensity 3 does stretch you out considerably. They aren't cheap but worth the mobility in the back of you have little movement, don't use if you have a herniated disk or similar though.
