they are comparing qwen2.5 to deepseek-v3, why are they not comparing it to deeeseek-R1? also the name of deepseek-R1 file image has qwen in it, what is the relation and why they call it distill?

that's a qwen that has been distilled with deepseek to help it learn reasoning from deepseek

the distilled versions of r1 are actually qwen and llama trained on r1 output, not the real r1 model.

what the heak in this ai industry day by day we get new models if open ai doesn't get high levels models in cheap way then open ai will be crashed

It is not just about training in a cheap way. This MoE architecture is a lot more cost-effective in inference as well considering its much lower energy consumption. With similar performance, if openai cannot switch to MoE, the company will face a really tough time operating at such a high cost. They are busy accusing deepseek of distilling their model now, while I believe they will secretly change their model architecture based on the publications of deepseek.

I use one and only simple task that 99% of AIs fail to accomplish. "Create a Rust script, using AWS SDK for Rust, that lists all available aws profiles". This is a literally oneliner for python, but try it in Rust. Neither AI was able to write that script, only DeepSeek was, but with its web search. Will qwen make it when it gets web search? We'll see.
