yup, in his podcasts episodes, he says it was on purpose to send him to a lower school so he can hone his skills as the alpha with lesser talent on his team. chatworth is literally down the road from sierra canyon, aka bryce. so when the time does come that he has high skilled players around him, he knows how to rely on them when the time comes. gil told him that he has to still trust his teammates, even though they're not the same caliber player. be the killer scorer that he is, but make the right play, even if his teammate doesnt make the shot.

You're exactly right, that part in the zone was #23's responsibility, all they had to do is run them off of the 3pt line. They should've been in man defence as 2-3 zone has weak spots at the top of the key (where the 3 was made) and, the wings off of a drive and kick. Coach could've been wayy better in crunch time, you gotta address things like that during the timeout. tough L

Dudes forget how it used to be before AAU broke sports. For the most part the better players stayed in their district and played with the kids they grew up with. So we didn't see so many super teams. Every now and then a cycle would come through with a lot of talent and those teams were special. Chatsworth has the length and athletes to play a more active zone. These kids don't play D.

The blue team was better coached and unselfish. Gilbert should teach Alijah team playing concepts insteqd of only one on one and offensive skills.

gilbert yo son needs to learn how to play defense the whole game he just stood around and waited to be the first one to clap his hands for the ball every single time down the court he does not play fast at all everything is slow and too much trying to be cute with the ball you need to make him a monster on defense first everything else will fall in line trust me once he starts playing D he will care more about his team he was not tired when the game was over so that means he did not leave it all on the court right now he just don't got that DAWG in him
