yup, in his podcasts episodes, he says it was on purpose to send him to a lower school so he can hone his skills as the alpha with lesser talent on his team. chatworth is literally down the road from sierra canyon, aka bryce. so when the time does come that he has high skilled players around him, he knows how to rely on them when the time comes. gil told him that he has to still trust his teammates, even though they're not the same caliber player. be the killer scorer that he is, but make the right play, even if his teammate doesnt make the shot.

You're exactly right, that part in the zone was #23's responsibility, all they had to do is run them off of the 3pt line. They should've been in man defence as 2-3 zone has weak spots at the top of the key (where the 3 was made) and, the wings off of a drive and kick. Coach could've been wayy better in crunch time, you gotta address things like that during the timeout. tough L

Dudes forget how it used to be before AAU broke sports. For the most part the better players stayed in their district and played with the kids they grew up with. So we didn't see so many super teams. Every now and then a cycle would come through with a lot of talent and those teams were special. Chatsworth has the length and athletes to play a more active zone. These kids don't play D.

He gets his real competition from playing AAU ball in the summer where he plays for one of the best teams in California. The Compton Magic. The way he plays in school is the way he plays in the summer. He really is unstoppable when he has a decent team around him.

#13 sold the bag fs, but the coach needs to call a better out of bounds play at the end of the game. 18:15 He had 2 chances and both plays that were called were terrible leading to the terrible pass #13 had to make to avoid the 5 seconds violation. Alijah could easily make it down court in less then 5 seconds, idk why he would make him stand at half court, let your best player go get the ball and make a play.
