Love how Gil has him playing as a number one option in high school, getting all the on ball reps he can. You can learn how to be a team player in AAU and college. Hate seeing top players pigeon holed into being role players on the HS level.

Team looks way better when they pass out of that double/triple team and AA can get it back or get the easy buckets down low. He's even more elite inside the free throw, too quick and skilled for anybody down there and no time for a double/triple and sometime whole team to even get to him in time. Elite finisher around the basket too, that's the gameplan that wins for them

@ThreadAndCircuses16 ай бұрын
I'm glad Gil is allowing him to get on ball reps. Kids playing in the best leagues spend HS as role players and don't develop skill. You have big men sitting in the dunker spot all game, when they could be playing point for a smaller school.

He's a good player. He should continue good sportsmanship at all times. Hope his attitude exhibits that throughout his playing days. He doesn't want to be a huge A-hole like his dad is and did during his career. Basically Ruining his future playing days and abruptly killing his career earnings in something which was his best talent. He(Gil) thinks he's bright but his actions showed, he was really just an immature dummy and really hasn't changed much, especially since they rewarded him with such a huge contract while playing. Hope he doesn't fall to poverty level like so many NBA others. Even though I don't care for his arrogance, I would never want to see him broke and down and out. He's letting him get on ball reps. These kids in the NIBC, WCAC, Mission League, don't get reps because of playing on stacked teams. We have people entering the NBA who have been at best the third option on their team since HS. He can learn how to be a team player on 17u AAU and in college, right now is about getting live reps. I personally see players get stunted because instead of being a number 1 option, they play off ball because they have multiple D1 teammates.
