Love how Gil has him playing as a number one option in high school, getting all the on ball reps he can. You can learn how to be a team player in AAU and college. Hate seeing top players pigeon holed into being role players on the HS level.

You see this all the time in top HS leagues. D1 players who never were number one options in HS. They produce solid college role players, but these kids NEVER develop killer instinct, even in pickup games they play passive and robotic.@@Michael-vw4cg

Team looks way better when they pass out of that double/triple team and AA can get it back or get the easy buckets down low. He's even more elite inside the free throw, too quick and skilled for anybody down there and no time for a double/triple and sometime whole team to even get to him in time. Elite finisher around the basket too, that's the gameplan that wins for them

@weknowit827 if your good you will make it to college or NBA regardless. Transferring is new the last 15 years before all the past NBA stars came from small local highschools. Summer time u play AAU and see serious competition. Trust me Gil knows what he's doing his daughter plays at Sierra canyon she's going to Louisville. There's a method to his madness that u don't understand he wanted his son to learn to be the man instead of sharing the ball with 4 other 5 stars

He's a good player. He should continue good sportsmanship at all times. Hope his attitude exhibits that throughout his playing days. He doesn't want to be a huge A-hole like his dad is and did during his career. Basically Ruining his future playing days and abruptly killing his career earnings in something which was his best talent. He(Gil) thinks he's bright but his actions showed, he was really just an immature dummy and really hasn't changed much, especially since they rewarded him with such a huge contract while playing. Hope he doesn't fall to poverty level like so many NBA others. Even though I don't care for his arrogance, I would never want to see him broke and down and out. He'll (Gil) will always be a jerk to me. Screwed up the Wizards like an idiot though..

He's letting him get on ball reps. These kids in the NIBC, WCAC, Mission League, don't get reps because of playing on stacked teams. We have people entering the NBA who have been at best the third option on their team since HS. He can learn how to be a team player on 17u AAU and in college, right now is about getting live reps. I personally see players get stunted because instead of being a number 1 option, they play off ball because they have multiple D1 teammates.
