wow dude this is a unique bird! Very you yet very different if that makes any sense. I love how you did the parts list in the ship computer. Another sick interior well done! The 1x1 galley is very well executed. the Taiyo walls are harder to work with, but you did a great job. that work in the cockpit is fantastic though!

The only positive that I saw from the lack of anything ship related is that now I feel like there's a huge possibility for a ship-focused DLC. Throw in some new ship-related factions and some more dynamic space encounters and I'll be a really happy camper.

I knooooow....you love your asymmetrical Ships man 🤣 but ..this personally seems like a great idea for symmetry to take over, with 2 cargo holds on both sides of a cockpit fuselage instead, but not the same length as the cockpit fuselage. adding to the nice shape on the back you created by merging engines (nice roundish rear ), with the cockpit fuselage in center sticking out further and cargo holds protruding exactly as you have done, but x2. i know ..i know stfu X ...haha 😂 beautiful design mate and great color scheme.

Ha! No worries I got something special for the next build. It’s Freestar themed and a symmetrical take on this style of ship. I went pretty extreme yet very grounded with the design. Just doing some finishing touches and will post it on Reddit over the weekend.

Love your ship designs. This is by far my favorite, gonna use it for my Ryujin Assassin in his fleet. Have you ever considered doing your own Headcanon version of the Mantis' ship? With the way you style your videos, and the work you'd put into them. I'd argue yours would be the best,

For weapon merging weapons on mounts I've found duplicating the mount and merging the weapons and mounts onto a single part seems to end up forcing them all onto one mount. You can select them, move them off the stack of mounts all on a single mount, delete the extra mounts, and they end up perfectly aligned to one another by force. Obviously, only if you want them to be. Wide Beam is neat.

@@herebejamz yup that’s definitely the most accurate way to get them all into one placement. I tend to just eyeball if it’s concealed and wont be seen cause I’m a little lazy there 😅. But yeah in this case just wanted to get a wider/longer beam. A lot of the times, I use this as my excuse for a “4th weapon”. Like I’ll have 2-single Hellfire Autocannons mounted separately and then a 4-stack to simulate a “heavy hellfire Autocannon”

I use quite a few interior decorating/outpost mods and am going off the top of my head, so I may miss one or two but this pretty much encompasses EVERYTHING that was used in some capacity: *_Must Have:_* 1. Better Buildable Walls Vol. 1 2. Betamax Functional Decor *_Highly Recommended:_* 3. Midas Manor 4. Skully's Emporium AIO 5. Weapon Displays Enhanced 6. Panels *_Redundant Decorative Mods Used:_* 7. Nem's Deco Pack* 8. Starizon - Ship Furniture 9. Outpost Mission Boards Enhanced 10. DJ Booth and More Consoles *_Ship Builder Mods that Affect Interiors:_* - Place Doors Yourself - Empty 1x1 Habs Btw, if this list is too long, all you really need are the first 6 listed, and you will be able to do 90% of what you see. The redundant mods are just me being picky with things like chair/stool/desk/console/shelf selection. I put an asterisk with 7. Nem's Deco Pack because pretty much all the shelves used in the ship were from this mod, BUT it really is redundant when you have Betamax, Midas, and Skully's.

Thank you very much! Man I know what you mean...the mouse click always over-rotates decorations a bit too much. Ended up just getting a budget controller off Amazon mainly to have a steadier hand when doing the cinematic intros, but turns out it's also great for interior decorating lol

Can anyone explain to me Why I have never seen a med bay on the first floor near the on ramp? If someone is shot they have to clime up ladder and walk the length of the ship sometimes twice to get to a med bay...WHY?
