That fast travel option wasn't even a part of the original game, so they more so offer you a cheat for having and using an amiboo, than they are guarding a required feature behind a paywall. Which is in my opinion a totally fine thing to do. Both the reddit post and tye narrator conveniently left that out and made it look like they removed some previously free feature to hide it behind a paywall. He generally seems to hold a personal grudge against Nintendo for some unknown reason. Gotta love the totally not persuasive "do some research" without mentioning anything one should look for.

About the zelda thing: that only half true. The thing is with that Amiibo thing. It's kinda false. Fast travel is still accessable without the damn figure, you just need to walk to an owl statue and they are placed in such a way that you are never too far away from one since they are also your save points. I can only think of 2 ways that this feature would even be useful. Leaving a dungeon quickly and backtracking for specific items to upgrade your some of equipment and neither of which are that big of a deal since Dungeons have save points that you can just reload from if you need to leave a Dungeon for any reason and if you are thorough with collecting items you shouldn't need to backtrack to collect them Unless you are really bad at the game and your shield keeps breaking.

No, that's mostly on Apple. Apple decided they won't ship Flash on iOS (in favor of HTML5, which is, IMO, superior tech). That started Flashes fall from grace and as user base dwindled (because every platform had to move away from Flash to be usable on iPhones), it stopped making sense to keep supporting it.

I'm not really sure if this is an A**hole design but whatever. I saw an ad for this mobile game called Evertale and it looked like a horror version of Pokémon and I was intrigued. So I bought it (it cost 99. Cents) and I opened it up and and it was a fantasy like game. I played it for 20 minutes and never played it again. Total waste of a dollar.

Man, the amiibo thing is just crappydesign or mildlyinfuriating. The "fast travel" the amiibo gives you is essentially a new, nice feature. It didn't exist in the original game, and it won't inhibit your enjoyment of the game. At best, it'll slightly improve your experience, that's it. You're better off holding onto it for a collection than actually using it for the minor fast travel applications it has. Inb4 speedrunners find major glitches requiring it, of course.

I just couldn't keep it in for any longer. A smart grill/smoker, Robin, could actually be very useful when cooking, like for example, the Traeger smart grill and smoker can be set to a exact temperature remotely from your phone which, if you do a lot of grilling/smoking (no offense but I don't think you do) is very useful for having an exact time your food will be done, to make sure you don't over cook it, and if your off in the kitchen fixing up the rest of your dinner you can turn off the your outdoor appliances remotely from your phone. If this has given you any insight into why a smart grill/smoker would be pretty beneficial and why Hank Hill would be having a moral dilemma, please reply. If you did receive any insight than I will miss those 10 minutes I will not get back.
