3rd story: first off, if OP wanted a lab diamond ring, she can have a lab diamond ring. Hell, OP could literally send her ring to IGI, a diamond certifying company (which i believe is the only one that will certify labs because GIA certainly doesn't) to get her lab diamond certified for a small fee. I honestly get OP's logic in calling her niece a lab or fake baby. People that see lab diamonds as fake are so weird especially when everything about lab grown and mined diamonds are exactly the same minus the origins.
@lahlybird8957 күн бұрын
I think the difference is that if an object or something is made artificially it's never going to be the same thing even if it is similar. Which is not apply to a baby, because that is a real baby. It's not like it's a synthetic Android or something. IVF is just not the same thing, the comparison just doesn't work. And I kind of agree I think op crossed the line here, like this is a stupid ring it's not that big a deal you don't have to defend yourself by going straight for somebody's baby there are other ways you could have made your point.
@deezvidz2187 күн бұрын
@@lahlybird895the sister was the one out of line shes just petty and jealous. Op wasn't saying the niece was a fake baby just that the sisters logic was flawed. @lahlybird8957 күн бұрын
@deezvidz218 my problem with that is that you cannot point out a flaw in logic using flawed logic it does nothing. False comparison is a logical fallacy for a reason. I agree the ring is not important however having an artificial jealousy fit over a ring if not the same thing as insulting a child. There's no need for either of them to lash out like that which is exactly why everybody sucks here.
@deezvidz2187 күн бұрын
@@lahlybird895but the logic isn't flawed literally both things were grown in a lab. The baby started in a lab. I don't see why you think the logic is flawed. And again she wasn't insulting the child she was pointing out that if anyone was insulting the child it was the sister since she's so against things grown in lab and not naturally made.
@lahlybird8957 күн бұрын
@deezvidz218 because a baby is alive and a rock isn't An artificial product is an artificial product no matter how similar it gets to the real thing. Where is a living child just like any other child. Is this situation it's just not the same you cannot compare living things to objects as if they're held to the same standards. No matter how they were conceived, at least not until we actually figure out how to make synthetic children which we haven't done yet. Meanwhile a diamond is a lab made imitation of a natural resource which was not found naturally (regardless of the ethics of diamond mining), the situation is just aren't the same point blank. Therefore trying to point out a flaw in logic by comparing them is flawed logic. We aren't talking prosthetics or gene splicing here. If you want to point out the floor on the logic use something that's actually comparable like some other object that could be made in a lab or not. Or clothing brands or something like that. Don't bring her f****** child into it.

Gemmologist here. 1) Lab diamonds and natural diamonds are BOTH compressed carbon, therefore both diamonds. Just a significant price difference. 2) Lab diamonds are not necessarily more 'ethical'. There are some labs that have really bad environmental practices. 3) there are ways to know you're not getting a 'blood diamond'. We have the Kimberley Process (it's not perfect by any means, but it's better than nothing), and Canadian diamonds in particular are strictly monitored at every stage. Your best bet is to look into diamonds that have traceable provenance, but those can come with a higher price tag. And that's IF you want a natural diamond. Now that all being said, if you want a lab diamond, the get a lab diamond. If you don't want a diamond at all, you don't HAVE to get one. It's about what you and your partner want.

Dabney presents us many times with the story of a sibling/friend who starts an argument and, unceasingly, brings the topic up over and over and over again, until the OP snaps and makes a comment back, resulting in gasps of horror and clutched pearls from friends & family. This one is no different. That (rhymes with) witch sister, I'm guessing, has been given a free pass her entire life, and has been allowed to be a witch and start arguments for the sole purpose of getting her sister in trouble. You know the type - she'll press every single button relentlessly; however, the moment OP fought back, she'd run screaming to mommy and daddy, who would ALWAYS take her side, and nothing OP could say would have any influence. It's no different here - the sister pressed the argument until, by her own rules of logic, OP made a point to convince her - and suddenly OP magically becomes the evil one. Oh, f*** no - OP doesn't believe her niece is fake; she is trying to point out that there aren't any truly black & white situations in the world. And how she gets a butthole score? Oh, HELL no! Everyone who defends the witch sister and her relentless rantings about "he doesn't love you 'cuz it isn't a REAL diamond!" but are horrified when OP fights back deserve the butthole score - but not OP. Rslash, this is a very important distinction: self-defense is decidedly NOT murder. You said in your intro that, "OP tries to murder some people," and that is blatantly untrue. Not only is self-defense NOT murder, he did everything in his power to make sure he didn't have to kill them. "Kill" and "murder" are two very different words, but this is not the first time you've described self-defense as murder. I know it's not a common occurrence for these stories to involve killings, but it would be nice if you actually made that distinction in the future. Murder is wrong, legally and morally, but self-defense is never wrong.

@ninafrrr2410 it's been proven. It's also obvious because the title ways "drop charges" and there was never any charges to drop.
@SuperNova-nl5eb7 күн бұрын
@@ninafrrr2410 the principal asked him to drop the charges, later on he sais that he'll press charges if you go to the guy's profile all he does is complain about illegal and legal imigrants, wanting them deported he lives in an area that is over 90% white.

It's fake. OZ covered the same story, and he’s from the same area the OP claimed to be from, and that area has a very small immigrant population! Plus, the OP has a history of posting rage-bite garbage!

You know what's better than a rSlash video? A rSlash video with a "why don't *you* do it?!" on it.

Fyi: the second story might be fake. The poster had a history of bashing immigrants, and another youtuber who covered it grew up in the area, and they don't have a bunch of immigrants around.

1st story, gf could have been calling the cops instead of being an unhlepful tool trying to help burglars stay safe. Even if it was her house in the suburbs she should have been taught you don't let people break into your home, that sounds like she has zero survival skills. But on the other hand, her screaming "don't shoot them" probably let those creeps know OP was serious about having a loaded weapon also. I would still consider breaking up with someone who wasn't 100% supportive of keeping us all safe in the home esp with a disabled parent.

The fact that you have to explain this to your gf shows she is an idiot. The guys could have been attacking her as well. Idiot. I would break up with her. She's a nut. 🙄

Story 2 was actually proven to be fake. One of the commenters countered that they grew up in the area the post is supposedly set in, and the info given by the OP is true.

The diamond story: op is not an ah. Like u said, she was NOT saying her isnt saying anything against her neice. She was using the sisters logic to explain things. Big difference. Op doesnt deserve the ah score. Especially since the sister kept escalating the argument about a ring, that wasnt even hers. And i wanna know why the sister's husband thinks op started that fight.

RSlash really needs a merch line with "Why don't you do it?". Maybe also "Don't mess with the IT guy".

S1: Of course you have every right to defend your home. Seriously how dense can OP's gf and thinking it's never ok to use violence, wow basically she wants them let be let in and rob you. S2: Principle handling things HAHA, there is no excuse for hitting someone with so much force at recess when they are kids. Schools much rather ignore things and sweep stuff like this under the rug. S3: Lab diamonds are real so what if it's not mined. OP you did take it to far by calling the kid a not real kid. Yes her insulting your ring is not nice but OP took it to far. S4: Wow they expect you to continue to pay for the mortgage when they changed the deal. They expect you to continue to pay when you won't get anything because they decide to go behind your back and thought o you won't mind not getting the house. S5: Can you smell what the jealous is cooking. She is coming on way way to strong and R is being a good guy not giving in, he has great self control. Your not wrong because it was exactly what she meant. FINAL: No wonder why OP didn't want to help her sis when she got with OP's husband. Why should you help when she got with OP's ex husband and if you wanna help her then let her stay with you.

In the diamond story, I honestly think that moissanite is prettier than diamond, and they are all lab made. Also, I think you misunderstood OPs point. OP is saying it's bad logic because obviously the niece isn't a fake child.
