This print is beautiful. I am learning about water and ink marbling. What kind of papers work best. I have problems with the paper melting in water.

Japanese washi paper is a material with longer fibers than wood pulp. It is made from the bast of kozo, gampi, and mitsumata. Therefore, it is a durable paper.
