I must confess that I did not fully understand everything in this video, but I go away with the impression that the Japanese represents the best of Japanese craftsmanship: dedication, diligence, commitment, perfection. However, the Japanese craftsmanship is best suited for the old days. It's also characterized by rigidity and pride. If Japan continues to stick to this old craftsmanship spirit and NOTHING ELSE, it is guaranteed to be left behind in the new era of AI. By the way, I used to love Toyota cars, and now I would never buy another Toyota car unless I absolutely have to because of budget constraint. While its engines are as reliable as always, it's electronic system is unbelievably stupid and primitive.

In what way

In fact, Japan's craft spirit comes from ancient China. In ancient China, more than a dozen generations of people have been doing the same job, serious and rigorous. So the weapons, crafts, ceramics, embroidery made in ancient China are among the best in the world. Japan has learned from China's spirit of craftsmanship.
