Hey Taro, always enjoy your videos! Just wanted to point out something on your grammar. You might wanna use “aside from” instead of “except”. Except means ~を除いて while aside from means ~の他に. Ex: Which countries have you been to aside from Australia? Cheers!

I think "except" sounds more natural and I would also use "other than" instead of "aside from".

Either expression is okay as long as the interviewer is able to make the interviewee understand what the interviewer is trying to ask.

He is an influencer who tells the joys of using English as a tool to communicate with non-Japanese people. 👆From this perspective, I'd say it's okay for him to use either expression in this case. ☆I understand what you're saying & I leave the people watching this V to make their own judgment of right or wrong on this case.
