Yeah It has zinc in solution and it forms a fairly thin layer of brass on the surface sorta like how electroplating works, because copper and zinc form a sort of battery and it produces just enough electricity that it permits the two metals to alloy on the surface

Can be confirmed: when blue cube is in the red cube, the bottom piece is not fully inside the top piece which gives tome room for the blue cube when its pieces are perfectly inside each other. And same goes the other way 'round

I thought that he just switched the cube. There's a fraction of a second after he takes the blue out that it goes entirely off-screen. @@Hambrack No, SnowyGrass had the right of it. If you watch, the outer box's 2 parts have like a centimeter at the bottom where they don't overlap, and the inner box has its 2 parts completely flush. That stays true both when the red box is on the outside, and when he swaps them around. If you sat the 4 halves on a surface, open-side up, they would all be the same size, but they would all be slightly shorter than they are wide. You can fit one of the boxes in the other sideways, but it won't close all the way. TL:DR it works because the boxes aren't actually cubes. The guy is lying when he calls them cubes.

It's made to make the spectator think the four sets of cards are getting shuffled, "confirming" that the deck is not set.
