Just got back from a bike ride. I found the bf109 on the side of the lake!! It’s ruined of course but it’ll make a nice display piece.

Great you found it. What was damaged and what survived?

@@Calvertfilm it has been four days since it’s been in the lake and the only things that were damaged were the exposed metal components that have rusted and the battery inside. The motor is very hard to spin and the prop was missing. The livery on the bottom appeared to be slightly bubbled up, and even then they are tiny specs. aside from that no sign of damage quite amazing really.

@@CalvertfilmI honestly can’t believe it but I just got back from flying 3 batteries through it. It has been in the water for 4 days but after some drying and a few rotations of the crusty motor I got it spinning again! I took it out for a test and it flies beautifully with a little less power of course.

I hope it does fly better than your previous one. I am also curious what kind of landing gear yours came with. Are they new ones with springs or the standard straight wire ones.
