I found information on getting a bike licence pretty vague. How soon can I ride by myself if I already hold a drivers licence? I know safety and ability to properly control the vehicle come first but just for information sake, how long?

If you are in W.A you can only ride a moped 50cc on a car licence. Anything bigger requires you to obtain a motorcycle learners permit which then enables you to begin learning to ride a REA or RE lams bikes. You ned to hold your permit for 6months then you are eligible to sit your HPT then PDA.

have you had any one on one training with a qualified instructor? This is the best way to see if you have any faults and ready for the motorcycle PDA

@@elitemotorcycledrivertraining I have my test tomorrow and have had two lessons prior to it, really helped and I feel confident but still really nearvous

@@owenrooney5213 did you pass? If not, check with the instructors to see why you failed so you know what to work on. Often people fail due to not indicating, leaving indicators on, not doing head checks when moving off from a stop and not checking side streets.
