I don’t have anywhere else to tell this story, but some of the crappy CGI on the movie boxarts reminds me of a story from ages ago. So, we were in Toys r Us and I was like 11, and I put an educational DVD in the cart as a joke, and my mom actually bought it by mistake, so we watched it for laughs, and there was a familiar name in the credits. I confirmed this later seeing a Christian children’s animation with a very similar art style. The significance is that these were animated by Scott Cawthorn. 2:38 oh God. Yes it does. I used to do airport security and thank fuck my supervisor was around for this one. A kid kept setting off the metal detector. Young girl, maybe 6, a bit pudgy. Her mother couldn't find anything on her and asked if i was going to check. (while I won't deny that tsa has patted down kids in the past, it's done in very specific scenarios and this wouldn't have been one and it sure as fuck would not have been me). I called my supervisor and he began talking to her while I stood there. The mother became irate and began pulling up their child's shirt and exposing her to us. Supervisor and I immediately spun around. We told her to stop but she did it a few more times and made the kid cry. Her mom blamed us for this, obviously. Kid was so young and I remember being chubby at that age so I imagine this was a nightmare. Poor kid. Eventually a female supervisor came and it got sorted. That was one of the more stressful moments of my short career there. I was actually shaking from the stress. Tldr: don't take off your child's clothes in an airport.
