The convincing voices on the ponies are just from a digital voice changer. I've seen tons of fan animations, re-animations, etc of other shows with this kind of voice acting. It's pretty crazy how accurate the simulated voices it can produce are.

i realised that too, its a little funny cue thought it was his voice acting. the voice that was supposed to be 'his' wasn't even real or his own voice either.
@melodymcdaniel92682 жыл бұрын
It's not a voice changer. It works similarly to vocaloid. Someone takes real voice lines, splits them up by syllable, and then feeds it into the AI. When given text input, the AI pieces those syllables back together to make new speech. It sounds so accurate because they're using the real voice

I knew a guy that was exactly like the stick shift story dude. He would hang around groups of women and actually make speeches like that. We absolutely hated it. Because the way the woman reacted in his fictional story is how he would see things play out in his head, when in reality we all considered him to be condescending, pretty sexist, and try-hard manipulative. Like, yea, you don't need to tell me that I am not defined by my gender [name redacted], because I KNOW THAT ALREADY AND ALSO I CAN'T CONTROL WHEN OTHER PEOPLE PIGEONHOLE ME DUE TO BEING A WOMAN; stop talking about it like you know what you're talking about. He would go on these diatribes forever out of nowhere and it got real old real quick. My friends and I have never used the term "mansplain" seriously, except for this one dude. Then he would turn around and start telling us about all of his fetishes and try really hard to get one of us to do sexual things for/with him (which of course never worked). In short, he was a hypocrite (and also an incel, so I'm pretty sure he thought saying lots of "women's empowerment" things was an easy way to get laid) -- it was exhausting. Thankfully I cut him out of my life. Oh yea, and we're all in our 30's.

9:44 feels just sad. I know it's a sad cringe but I can actually relate to this. Growing up for me I used to not really be in the real world mentally. I'd just daydream about being in my favourite game at the time. I wouldn't draw, I wouldn't play games. I'd go to school and head home and lay in bed most of the day. For context it was undertale and I'd spend most of my free time not even doing much other than fantatizing about living in the game. It's a really awful place to be in, and I think what got me out of that was by using the weird desire to be in the game into other aspects of my life. I need to shower for school? Well Toriel would tell me to shower and clean myself. I'm happy I got myself out of whatever slump that was but I really hope the OP is doing okay in that post. and gets out of that issue. Sometimes it's nice to just disconnect from reality but other times you have to remind yourself to keep connected to the actual world in some way. Either by finding ways to relate the real world to whatever world you are trying to mentally drift into or what not. This might have just been for me, but if you see someone like this. Don't rage at them and tell them "It's just a game! Get over it" or other harsh words. They know and they'll probably end up entirely disconnected or see in appeal in reality anymore. Dont let them completely drift into fantasy through.
