Sausage from hardware shop: THIS IS SWEDEN. We have a hardware / department store called Biltema (lit. trans. "car themed") and they've always sold SUPER cheap hot dogs. I'm talking pretty decent hot dogs for literally less than 50 cents. In recent years, it's become somewhat of a cultural thing to call it "Biltemakörv", which is slang for "Biltema-korv". It would be essentially calling it "Biltema sosig" instead of "Biltema hot dogs". They've even made Biltemakörv MERCH.

The sausauge from a hardware store might be talking about "Biltema" that we have here in Sweden (it translates to "Car Theme"). It's just a huge chain of hardware stores but they all have a small shop where you can get hotdogs, coffee, stuff like that. It's suuuper cheap and quite popular, and some people just go there for the hotdogs lol. It's gotten so popular that Biltema made their own merch with it (I have a pair of socks, covered in hotdogs and Biltema logos)

Biltema sounds awesome, but they're talking about Bunnings Warehouse, a place here in Australia that gives you a sausage "snag" as we call it, just a sausage in bread and they do this every so often with a sausage sizzle. (groups where they grill sausages and give you them). Quite nice, and the earnings go to charity. Similar to biltema, people a lot of the time just go there for the sausages, it costs about 1 dollar I think for one sausage? Gotten so popular it's gotten global, especially with schools, where they raise money usnig this tactic for charity or other stuff.
