actually fun fact about transistors and logic gates we are actually (somehow) reaching the limit on how small we can make them in standard binary technological systems. We are starting to make them SO SMALL that the function of stopping and letting through electrical currents as 0 or 1, is hitting a problem...when you get TOO SMALL electrons will start to "quantum tunnel" as in the relative position of the electron and its barrier *the transistor* are so small that they are so close together that the electron can effectively *glitch* to the other side.
