My friend was going through the process or fostering with the hope of adopting. They'd ended up adopting a little boy about 11-12 years old, let's call him Travis. They go back a few times as he misses one of his friends. FFW 6ish months. They're also thinking about fostering and adopting her too. They would have already done it but they don't know how to approach it because he has romantic feelings for her and can't make a decision on whether or not their okay with them living together. (Not really relevant) Cue EP. One visit this woman, EP, walks over and demands that they swap Travis with their adopted son. She tells them she's been watching Travis and he looks like a good boy and that her son is "broken". She tells them she deserves a good boy and my friends look like trash so they deserve her trashy son. When my friends kept saying no she offered to trade kids and offered them $100,000 to make up for her sons autism. Security finally arrives and intervenes and the woman had her son taken from her and was permanently denied all access to adopting ANY child in the future. TL;DR Woman demands they swap children, tries to buy said child then gets arrested.

I remember a time when my mother and I were into the school and to the parents meeting. I was having bad notes due to some issues with my mother's health and she already knew that. A EM listened to the conversation with the teacher telling my mother about that I will need to take some extra time in vacations to study science, we accepted and we leave. The EM start talking with other people about my case and saying horrible things about my mother and me, assuming that I was in bad influences, and then my mother face her. Mom: Excuse me, I will appreciate that you don't talk to me in my back. You don't understand the situation. EM: My son got better grades than yours and he also had issues, I think you are a bad mother. The next thing that happened was my mother punching her and dragging her from her hair in the floor. My mother has anger issues and she was very offended that she was told that she is a bad mother. The EM ended with a broken nose , her hair extensions ruined and her ego very affected. My mother was nagged by the principal and from that day I learned that my mother is a badass and you never get her angry.

Some of my friends do this, but only because a different seat was better or less populated or maybe their friend couldn’t get a seat near them. So they wait to see if anyone comes then they take it. If anyone else comes to get their seat they apologize and move. If you don’t make a scene and just move it’s not a big deal

I did it in a train (German ICE, first time at the age of 17) because i didn't know about it. An elderly gentleman came along and explained that i sat on his seat. I just was on my way back from a metal festival so i was dirty, tired and wild looking. He said the other seat is free so i can just sit there and then explained me everything about the reservation system and when it makes sense. It always depends on the person but not making a scene helps a lot.

Luckily my boss at Subway said that if people "change" their mind after they made a decision, they would have to pay for both sandwiches. You can't go to a restaurant, order a grilled steak, then when it's almost done be like "lol, changed my mind, I want pancakes now". You ordered, got a finished product that cannot be reverted and have to pay for it.

My mom has bipolar disorder so before we new about it and before she started taking her meds, she was very similar to the last entitled mother. It was always horrible going out with her because she would flip out at me or the people around. It was so confusing and embarrassing. One moment she is the wonderful mother I know and the next she was a raging monster.
