@@SoldrfMfortune I think you're right, like old cartoons were they would jump and tap their heels together, only it's done by a small fluffy four legged animal. Just look up bunny binkies here on KZbin and you'll see quite a few videos of it.

Skipping, as I remember from childhood, skipping was fun. Story 2: Hey, fairy rings - doesn't hurt to avoid them. JUST IN CASE! Story 3: It's sad to have to kill for food, but meat is what allowed humanity to survive. The high protein and more fat, gave humans the edge to survive in extreme circumstances.

As a kid, in music or gym class or something, they literally made us skip, while listening to a record of "Skip to my Lou". It made me very self conscious, and gave me "a thing" toward skipping. However, all on my own, I developed my own oddity, really didn't have a name for it. I guess you could call it "curbing"? I would run, one foot on the sidewalk, one foot in the street. I intentionally did this in a half-crouch, not bouncing up and down. So I had to short step the curb, and long step the street. I know, I was a weird kid. If you did it quickly, it was a surprisingly fast means of locomotion. As for fairy rings, never heard of them till I was older, and was already intentionally stepping on sidewalk cracks to prove it wouldn't break my mother's back. As far as story 3, yeah, Humanity would have never made it out of the caves in the ice age without meat/fat.
