First story was pretty funny though it has a bit of a flaw with it. The stars are routing around the galaxy and thus the star pattern, as well as the stars near Earth, were not the same Billions of years ago. In fact scientist aren't sure which of the stars that started in the same nebula as the sun because they have spread out too much over the billions of years. However this does lend a bit of believably to the sci-fi stories of nomad races having lost track of where their homeworld after eons of traveling space. Stars going around the galaxy aren't like planets that stay in their lane, their more like the Oort Belt with tons of objects pulling on each other so they constantly shifting as they orbit the sun.
