Here’s how to turn off traction control:
Press the TC Button: Look for a button or switch with the symbol of a car on top of two squiggly skid marks-this is the standard symbol for traction control. Depending on your vehicle’s make and model, press the button or switch to disable the TC. Check your vehicle’s display to confirm that you’ve successfully switched the system off. Some cars might display a “Traction Control Turned Off” notification on the dashboard, while others may illuminate the TC symbol3.
Disable Vehicle Stability Controls (VSC): If your traction control still won’t shut off, you might need to turn off the VSC as well.
