honestly that post with the trans person hannah made me smile more than any else in this video, and after lexi told her story of her own family being so estranged to her afterwards the coming out, that was the closest i was to tearing up. im pretty drunk and i havent cried in years but that to me is so heartbreaking to hear, i cant imagine my own family being hostile to me because of my personality/sexuality whatever. Stories like this make the good in ppl stand out even more and what i strive to be as a person once i can become a family man. Good luck in the future lexi! Same. The trans one is the one that got me too, I rarely every cry (max 3x/y and that's like 1 singular tear, but working on it) I came out as trans to my family. I'm the only AFAB in my family, 1 big bro and 4 AMAB cousins... Grandma accepted and understood quicker than mum, still her first reaction was "Then I have no girl?!" (translated from Swedish, dialect) We talked it all out and I left smiling. I came out to my parents first, they didn't understand, then I thought they did, but no, dad accepted but with mum it took 2hrs of late explaining and convincing(?) She wouldn't believe me until I broke down. She said she understand and accept it and I cried in her arms, but not 100 if she fully understand. And yes, Lexi is a she/her.

Thank you, friend. According to them, I'm supposed to be this perfect child, a genius who's going to change the world. I keep straight A's and I'm taking college courses in high school, but they don't understand how incredibly stressed I get. My mental state is falling apart more and more and I can't talk to them about it. They'll either call it bullshit, tell me to suck it up, or convince I'm fine. Because of them, I'm scared to talk to most adults about my mental state, so I don't reach out for help. It's really hard trying to keep myself together sometimes. It's just nice to be reminded to take a break every now and then, even if my parents spaz on me for not working on school stuff.

the shelter dog saving the cats is by far the most wholesome thing ive seen in awhile. I wish i was as capable as that doggo and i hope he gets a successor to continue his beautiful nature defying work. Also i love emkay and its helped me through dark times and im so glad to see this channel doing so well! I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety a while back, and pretty much have felt no joy, hardly being able to get myself up. I have also been struggling with my sexual and gender identity, which is a thing I can’t go through with because my school doesn’t support it. You, even though none of it was meant for me, have finally let me feel accepted for who I am.
