Something nice about myself: I successfully trapped and rehabbed an extremely anxious feral kitten with a hip deformity. She's now tame and cuddling between my chair and the small of my back correcting my posture and chewing on my hair. The vet and my parents insist her incredible rehab results (from biting nightmare to cuddle monster in 10 weeks) but I whole-heartedly credit the kitten, named Baby, because she has a very trusting heart despite her fears and she's the one who let me in, not the other way around. But I'm still proud to be her cat mom. Yeah i just used that "say something nice about yourself" bit to brag about my kitten. Peace, thanks for reading.

I lived in a small af town and went to the smallest school and we learned about Ruby Bridges in 1st grade. Also i was explaining to my kids that segregation and stuff wasn't even 60 years ago. I started thinking that maybe since things are starting to change, obviously they're not great but more people are accepting and not assholes that when all the people alive during that time are dead that we as a country can finally get to a point where prejudice and stuff is almost gone. We're not an old country and i just really hope my grandchildren and great grandchildren and every black and brown and lgbtqia kid will not be killed and rejected for who they are by then. But it starts with us. We have to teach them the right way.

Nice thing about me: I once tamed a flock of extremely aggressive magpies. First thing I did was noticed they wanted my dogs leftover food, so I threw some to them, they came back everyday after that, then one of them named Maggie, (very creative I know) let me stand right next to her, soon after getting some devon meat and birdseed, I set up an area out the front of my house for them to relax, they would eat out of your hands and let you get close to their nest. Maggie brought me a lizard once but it was still alive and relatively unharmed so I let it go when Maggie wasn't looking. The Magpies would also lay down next to you and spread their wings out in the sun, they didn't like being touched, but they didn't mind being near people, every day when I got home they would fly down into the yard and start singing. When the Australian bush fires happened, we let them inside to keep them safe, they were calm and made no mess. I moved away a year or two later and on my last day of being in that house, Maggie visited one more time, after we left, the next people to move in apparently fed them as well. *TLDR:* I tamed an aggressive Magpie flock.
