I have read Ramayanam book written by Sri Rajagopalachariyar. I like it very much. His narrations are excellent. Even his Mahabharatam book too is too good. For generations and generations the whole of India is celebrating SriRama Navami in the same month and same Thithi and same Nakshatram. For Tamil Panguni month , Navami thithi, Punarpoosa Nakshatram. Other states people too celebrate on the same day, for them too the month, thithi, nakshatram do not change though they call the months and nakshatram names differently. They follow Lunar calendar and Tamils follow Solar calendar. Their new month starts on Amavasya day as per Lunar calender. They call all 27 nakshatram little differently. Punarpoosam is Punarvasu nakshatram.

Sri Sailesa Daya pathram podhum Ramanuja Daya Pathram vendAmA? On what basis he says not to read those vyAkhyAnams? "Bhutham Sarascha" adilpadaila sonna Nammazhwar thirumba Avesha AvathAram panni irukkalAm. So that shloka might have come like that.
