Rashtra Sant Tukadoji Maharaj (Manikdev Banduji Ingale) was born at Yawavli village (Amaravati dist., Maharashtra) in 1909. He was a spiritual saint and practical philosopher of 20th-century India. This podcast series contains the thoughts and philosophy of Rashtra Sant Shri Tukadoji Maharaj on the revival of rural life in India. He firmly believed that if villages improve and develop correctly, the nation will be on the path of progress. His thoughts are recorded in his work "Graama Geeta" in Marathi.
Dr. Amrit Raghavendra Yardi, a resident of Dharwad is a retired Professor of Marathi. Having served as a teacher in the Department of Marathi at Karnatak College, Dharwad, Dr. Yardi is a translator as well. He has translated books by famous Kannada writers such as Dr. Sudha Murthy, Prof. Rahimat Tarikere, and others into Marathi and several Marathi works into Kannada. His interest in spirituality has made him a thorough student of several spiritual works including Shrimad Bhagavadgeeta, Rigveda, and other scriptures. He loves traveling in nature and exploring new places of spiritual significance.
