MOST of the women are NOT posting in this subreddit. It’s worth noting that a lot of the subreddit is men pretending to be women. A moderator for this subreddit came out saying that a lot of the moderators are aware that majority of the people posting pictures of “themselves” in the subreddit are men who will go as far as posting pictures of women they know in their personal life while impersonating them. The photos that look more like they’d be on instagram are probably screenshots from the ig of some girl that ignored their DMs. Women who pose for nice pictures like the first Asian girl’s instagram-esque photos (definitely stolen screenshots from that girl’s ig) are definitely not on reddit.

Whenever they see a gorgeous woman and rate her as "mid", they're actually hoping to achieve 3 purposes: 1 - They want to "humble" the girl, lowering her to their level. A pretty woman who knows she's pretty would never settle for garbage, and they know that. So by undermining her confidence, they're hoping to make her feel like she should lower her own standards. 2 - To get petty revenge. We all know Reddit is swarming with incels. Can confirm. I posted on r/amiugly the day I turned 16 bc it was subreddit rules. Got over 100+ dms in a couple of hours. One asked if I wanted a c**tribute. Didn’t know what it was, so I politely declined after they explained and they surprisingly left it at that. SO many people commented on my tits, a couple wanted feet pics, and many were commenting that I would be prettier if I was “two years older.” Bunch of creeps.
