I was in spiritual psychosis during COVID. I was 17/18 and I started spirituality/paganism after being Christian for a while. I found that my path was the Egyptian pantheon but then I got sucked into pop culture paganism. Adults that were also in the delusion that PCP was real heavily fucked me up. It ruined my romantic relationships, some friendships, my faith, and generally my whole life. It lasted a year until my now gf snapped me out of it. I had beliefs that I was being possessed by these pop culture deities. I was also not a god spouse but I was romantically involved with the "deity" at 17. It's absolutely destroying realizing the religion you believed in was fake. But I am much better now and still worship the Egyptian gods. It's so nice to hear someone talk about this in a non-judgmental way.
