He rides like a grandpa I don’t think He even got into second gear
@The_Initiated6 жыл бұрын
yea no need to go into second gear on this thing on that mini highway speed limit is 45 and the bike in 1st goes to about 90. plus 1st gear is where you have the most power the higher up in gear you go the less torque.

@The_Initiated4 жыл бұрын
@@TheVSharp it uses more but it's not that much noticeable only when I go on long trips but when I do the parkway I usually shift up when I'm riding around town doesn't make sense to me. I love the torque in low gear and the sound I'm addicted XD.

You do know your bike has neutral right? You don’t have to sit on the clutch at every stop or light. Lean back and enjoy the bike.
@rollmodelz39375 жыл бұрын
If someone appears they're gonna rear end you. Probably not the greatest idea to be in neutral.

Nice enjoy the bike. Try to get out on some country roads if possible. I'm live in a low traffic area and the R1 is awesome on smooth sweeping backroads.

I don't understand why anyone buys a litre bike to ride it like that... Just get a 125 man.

not as fast i use it on highway quite a bit a 600 would be better but im lazy and dont like to shift lol
@tdunster20115 жыл бұрын
This is why people shouldn't start on R1's. Not because it's dangerous - but because as you see from these videos the learning curve is so steep that you actually learn slower than you would starting on something like a Ninja400 or an R3. If you started on a 300cc class bike you would be ten times the rider you are now.

1. Stop holding the clutch for years when you launch. 2. Stop holding the throttle that way. 3. Shift to damn second gear ! 4. Listen to people giving you advice on the comments because you clearly can't ride. 5. I think you should buy some gear. 6. This is a R1, not a moped, give it some lean angle... 7. Don't stop the videos but try to improve your riding because it's painfull to watch and it's really bad for your engine. 8. Your clutch is dead already.
@Blank_Immortal5 жыл бұрын
As much as I hate to say it, with the pace that he uploads, either he will make another video in one month, or he already died...
@v4sdude1915 жыл бұрын
At the speed he rides, 2nd gear is needed tho.

3 years in, still the same terrible riding habits he wont change don't worry. Doesn't want the constructive criticism. Plus hes mad stubborn in every comment he has an excuses for his poor safety and riding practices. why strap on a helmet if im only going under 40?! logic is gone here. just dont wear the helmet 😂
@Adrenalean7675 жыл бұрын
Why should he shift to 2nd? So he can downshift back to first at the first stop light? Smh.FYI motorcycles have Wet clutches
@Brandon-wd4cr5 жыл бұрын
@@Adrenalean767 not every bike has a wet clutch well most new ones do. anyway i wasnt saying it for the clutches sake, i was saying it because hes clearly scared to shift and ride... watch a few videos.

Hang on Mr. All this time and you still ride like an old man on a BSA Bantom. Lol Who taught you to corner like that, not on the throttle but coasting with the lever in. You really need to learn how to ride properly. Didn't the dealer explain your bike has 6 speed? Or did you purchase the automatic 2 speed version Im laughing here in UK. Trust me I ain't jealous cos I roll heavy on 2 and four wheels. Yep that's me in the thumbnail. Really though, you should get some lessons in before you really scare yourself, otherwise play it safe and stay in second gear bro I'm embarrassed for you! Lol Lol
