I used to struggle with dissociation alot before tapping into SE. I frequently thought to myself, "I am not real, I am only a concept. I'm some amalgamation of the ideas and thoughts of others." Now, Instead of taking a passenger position in life, I am now the driver. I am the hero of my story. Not the side character of other's stories

This video was an EPIC analysis of the "car model"! Yes, yes, yes, please make a video about the shadow functions. I have found that I recently needed to focus on the 6th function, the shadow function of FI, because it was inhibiting access to FE and SE. Of course, all the functions work synergistically, so the more that SE and FE are accessed, the more it's safe to access FI. Ultimately, it's a matter of having the appropriate balance. Like you, Wenzes, I had to have THE WORST relationship with a narcissist to wake up, but it was totally worth having that abusive relationship to transform! ~ I love your viewpoint that one is not a victim of a narcissist. If one chooses to look at the relationship from a paradigm of transformation, there's no victim, abuser, or rescuer; just growth.~ You are such a gift and have been such a blessing for me and so many! All the best to you, Wenzes, and this community. 🌠 🌠

Not all resonate, but many do, and that you keep going for almost 30 minutes at such pace is like an intellectual Marathon! You remind me of several things in my life, examples of these situations. Great primer on the functions! One thing I find about Extraverted Sensing in relation to Introverted Intuition, is that the building toward a vision, we often see so far or deep into how something should look, we don't take into account the movement it takes to get there. An image I think of is a giant whirlpool, like Pirates of the Carribean 3rd movie, where the vision is the center, and the waves/current/water is the Se. Even if you want to go straight to the center, you can't ignore the currents, a lot of times, you have to ride the waves of uncertainty to gain momentum to reach your vision. Though real life isn't just one whirlpool, it's competing whirpools all trying to take you in different directions, INFJ's are better at maintaining vision on the right whirpools than say ESFPs/ESTPs, but it's good to see how they go about things to get pointers.

@@Karmyst88 No Offense but ESFP and ESTP seem to usually go down into like sinkholes and they caused the whirlpool. And if you get too involved you will find yourself in a sinkhole. And yes they can look cute but it's a hot mess vs Infj which are just awesome.

Thanks for this! It was very helpful to hear aloud some of the difficult things I’ve had to learn over the years. Being “big” and having an effect on others, and being a part of something and not outside, is something I can be both very strong in, and incredibly weak in. The music recordings I want to do as my legacy or impact, are also quite difficult to execute with job, family, and just even having the motivation and creativity at the right moment.

Thank you so much Wenzes for another great video! About the integration between our first and last function, it got me thinking, for me the key is to fall in love with daily progress - the distance between my present self and the future version of me living my full potential is in the work of being uncomfortable in being an "eternal beginner". I started putting this resilience into practice some years ago, and seeing the progress I've already made is really motivational - so no matter how much I fail, or how little progress I think I've made today, If I am *consistently* moving and learning and achieving one little goal after the other (routines!) I know I will inevitably get to where I want to be. So I kind of still see myself from the future but looking back on this present version of me and thinking "Oh yes I had a real difficulty with that at the time but I kept going doing this and that, and now I'm here." So, maybe because we naturally have this longterm vision we also have this innate ability to be really patient with ourselves - once we trust our progress towards our vision, and stop being in such a hurry for others to see it - they will eventually. And it's funny because when others start seeing it they kind of think that's all you got planned all along, while you're just getting started, and as you said in another video, we INFJs grow exponentially... So, being a beginner is the cost of entry, imperfection is just a stepping stone to greatness, slow progress for us is success, the more we consistently move the better we get and the more confident we feel, and it's really addictive seeing your vision coming to life.... I hope every INFJ is able to feel that :) (long comment, sorry - i really love your videos, and yes shadow functions please)

Any other INFJ’s out there who would be HOMELESS due to loss of work if we fully protected our energy 100% of the time? 😂 Don’t get me wrong, in some ways it’s totally worth it to keep yourself and dignity safe… however unless you’ve got money some other way then part of physical survival means being HATED and treated like dirt by at least some coworkers.

Unfortunately this is a case in hand why everyone on this channel mistypes as an INFJ including Wenzes who's a cognitive ESFP. Yes you can be a social introvert & cognitive extrovert: in Jungian theory extroversion & introversion pertain to how one takes in information primarily not how social one is. I suggest people take a look at Cognitive Personality Theory to gain a full elucidation of their cognitive preferences. Wenzes clearly doesn't have Se as an oppositional function: her SeTe convergence is evident in the sheer volume of the content she creates & within the content itself, its experiential mastery as opposed to NiTi abstract cerebral conceptualisation. An INFJ simply wouldn't evade talking about the philosophy pertaining to the functions for a ten year time span. I mean this with the greatest respect; owing to ubiquitous MBTI stereotypes and a poor understanding of the functions I understand why Wenzes & the people who follow her mistype. In fact NiTi is Wenzes blind spot; her understanding of the functions on a 1,2,3,4 basis & the way she conceptualises them is misguided never mind basic. I wish people would do their own independent research & read Jung before deciding on their type. INFJs are a highly cerebral type - this isn't Wenzes, it's clearly by the sensational content she creates that that's convergent SeTe. There are many ISFPs that also subscribe to this channel. Many ISFPs can struggle with their Se authority function living vicariously through others experiences & incorrectly then perceive that they're a Se oppositional type. Ni IS NOT about an ideal vision - that's your divergent NiFi talking. Ni as a functional element is simply the broad perception of internally perceived reality. I don't negate you're utilising your own experience but you're reframing the functions through an ESFP cognitive mindset. If people want to see real examples of INFJs check out Harry from Cognitive Personality Theory and Michael Pierce. At the end of the day no type is better than any other, what's wrong with admitting your cognitive ESFP when that's your type? It says naught about your personality it's simply cognitive processes. I'm a professional typologist & know what I'm talking about. You're clearly very present in your videos & present yourself as very polished including your appearance & backgrounds - that's SeTe convergence indeed as INFJs are SeTe blind types they'd struggle with this.
