The individual has to be a member of the denomination for at least 2 years immediately preceding the time of filing the application.

So when it says you have to be a member of the denomination that has an organization in the US for the past 2 years, it means you needed to belong to that religion for the past two years and then that religion has to have some type of organization in the United States? Ie you’re a Christian in Japan for the past two years, and there are of course churches in the US so you qualify to apply?
