DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU HAVE A DJI MINI SERIES DRONE. Support will not answer my question on where and how to mount R111 on a mini 3. I have been emailing them for 8 days (6 emails) with no direct answer. Emails from JOYCE and CHERRY were of no help whatsoever. They said that the tech team says it will work on the mini just fine. A very general statement. WHICH ONE?? DJI makes 8 different mini models. They will not give me a direct answer. Terrible support and I think they have never even tested these modules on the mini series drones. VERY VERY UNSATISFIED. Would have given 0 stars if possible.

Good day sir,sorry about that!The R111 module is suitable for drones weighing more than 250g, the Mini model （DJI MINI3 248g）doesn't need to be equipped with R111, but you can utilize its location function, so you can find your mini drones through the app when they are lost in flight,hope this can help you.

@@Ruko-toy Yes. it does need remote ID if you are using under part 107 and it is registered.. Don't tell people that.
